Janis was also only sent as a messenger for a short time but she was here to do big things. Her spirit and vice is immortal. Rest in peace janis. You were and always will be a star ✨

It was women like her who encouraged other women to do the same, simply because she treaded those waters. Then sadly, she died of an overdose. My sister just died as a covid victim, following my other sister who died just over a decade ago from cancer. Joplin was one thing we had in common; i bought the Kozmic Blues album with babysitting money, when I was 14. My two sisters used to attend university parties, and went to a fan wake after she was gone. Most of the women of that era, mourned her passing
