I have! It’s been a bit but it’s a fun sport to film. Pretty different from football because you have to pick a spot and stay there rather than following the action but it’s a lot of fun!

Amazing Video! Great to hear the ins & outs regarding the pre production of filming a recap as well as how much thinking on the fly you still have to do.
When working for a professional sports team, is there a library of licensed songs that you can pull from? Or would it be a case of you finding a song you like and then seeking out a license for it?
Also are there any specific rules/standards you have to follow for the color grades? Could you use a more film-like/duotone grade or does the grade have to be somewhat consistent with the broadcast and team color theme?

For music most situations I’ve worked in have me pulling songs from a predetermined library of licensed music (think epidemic sound, artlist, musicbed, and services of that genre).
Most situations I’m in have me colour grading footage on my own to my liking though some have everyone shooting in a certain way and applying a specific colour grade to the footage for brand consistency. This can really vary from place to place.

On a lot of music licensing subscription websites there’s a “cinematic” and an “orchestral” or “classical” category so I usually begin by looking into those.

I created it from scratch on a website called Mural
What FPS did you all shoot at? What was it exported at?
Shot at a combo of 60fps and 120fps, exported at 24fps

I get access to the broadcast following its airing for my job
How do you like the Tamron 28-75? Is it sharp and the picture clear?
Yeah I actually love it! Use it pretty regularly too. Nice sharp image, especially considering it’s a third party zoom.
How do you get access to the sports commentary audio?
Can you drop the mood board??
In what sense? I’m just using Mural to make a wall and adding in photos
Do take pictures in between filming?
Usually not
@@petersarellas Make sense I tried doing at my college's women basketball game and I found difficult doing both, I just focus on filming the game instead. 😂
