Kirkland Independence Day Parade 2023

Kirkland, Illinois, have a several-days-long Independence Day festival. The street parade is one of the larger ones in northern Illinois. In New England, that many fire companies participating would have meant a Muster, with ladder-climbing and hose-accuracy competitions. Here, those companies led off, and got their rigs home before the mounted color guard ending the parade walked by. The video includes a few moving parts, not including the local youth sports groups tossing candy to the kids curbside.
