Omg most amazing marching I have ever seen. Shoes tapping sound, uniform, precision of each step, even the height! Everything close to perfection. Someone might say even they can march damn well great but can they protect the country? But without the strong persistence,great effort and determination, there is no way to train the soldiers to make such a perfect moves. The soldiers are well trained and they will be strong in any circumstances.
I lived in China for 6 years, and being at this great event was the highlight of my stay. I left a month later. There is no other army in the world that can march the way the Chinese do. Their precision is simply unbelievable. The enormous amount of time and effort and training for these events is staggering, and by Western standards, brutal. And this is why no Western country can ever win a land war in Asia. It's not in our DNA to give the 200% that is required for battle operations, to endure the inhuman conditions, to be inhumanly brutal to the enemy, or to understand that if you choose to fight, you are then required to win. China continues to show the world how it's done, in everything they undertake. Are they perfect? Of course not. But they have achieved a system of governance that, while by Western standards is considered "violative of personal freedoms", is anything but. To be perfectly honest, I felt freer and under much less "state supervision" than when I lived in the US. Congratulations China on your continuing successes in your space program. The American Heyday has long since passed. China has picked up the standard and is carrying it with pride and distinction. I'm very much looking forward to my visit again in a few months.

FYI: each step is 75 cm in distances. The whole goose step process is 90 meters long and 120 steps, tolerance +_3 steps. Our soldiers have trained 6 months before marching.

I've done 10 years in the french military and had the honor of parading 3 times down the champs élysées on 14th of july. I was with engineer troops and paraded on foot each time. We were good, but not THAT good compared to PLA. Incredible display of precision and discipline. Well done China.

FYI: each step is 75 cm in distances. The whole goose step process is 90 meters long and 120 steps, tolerance +_3 steps. Our soldiers have trained 6 months before marching.

I've done 10 years in the french military and had the honor of parading 3 times down the champs élysées on 14th of july. I was with engineer troops and paraded on foot each time. We were good, but not THAT good compared to PLA. Incredible display of precision and discipline. Well done China.
