Lol I have been working on car from the age of 6 and did my apprenticeship as a mechanic and spent 2 years working for ford then spent another year at a multi car dealership After that went into engineering before I went self employed in 2004. Now I own and run a small build company. But I have always done all my own work on the cars.

Great video. Thinking of replacing mine as preventative maintainance on my 02 plate 109k. Out of curiousity did you see any improvement on mpg?
Can’t say I see any difference in mpg but it did run much smoother.
What fuel pump did you use? Heard a lot of after market pumps cannot maintain the pressure
It was a Siemens VDO more money but better quality.
Is defender Td5 fuel pump same as discovery 2 td5??
