  • In this clip, Catholic comic and speaker Vicki Quade gives a comedy lecture to the Catholic Professional & Business Club of Fresno, CA.
This is how the organization promoted this event:
CP&BC Fresno’s December 12th breakfast Christmas Party will have you and your guests laughing out loud as we bring in Chicago’s wildly funny Vicki Quade, who has written and produced a lot of popular (and participatory!) theater.
Vicki is best known for co-creating the one-woman show, Late Nite Catechism, which opened in 1993 in Chicago and holds the record for the longest running religious comedy in the city’s history. She also created four other religious comedies: Put the Nuns in Charge! (a look at modern sins), Sunday School Cinema (a look at religion and Hollywood), Saints & Sinners (about church fundraising schemes) and her holiday show, Mother Superior’s Ho-Ho-Holy Night.
In 2011, she started a line of bingo shows, including Bible Bingo, Christmas Bingo, Movie Bingo, Convent Bingo, and Saints & Sinners Bingo.
Vicki also regularly appears in special performances for corporate events and private parties.
Vicki, a practicing Catholic, grew up in the southwest suburbs of Chicago and started her career in journalism, working for daily newspapers, national magazines, and writing for just about every publication in Chicago. She also spent 10 years as a correspondent for Newsweek.
Vicki has three children, Michael, David, and Catherine, who keep her sane.
For more information on Vicki Quade's work, go to the web site: www.nuns4fun.com. Her office number is 773.388.0730.
Thanks to Tom Lang from the Catholic Professional & Business Club of Fresno, CA, for filming this clip.
