I'm in Winterathon, I'm trying for a blackout because I want to read a lot of my already owned paper books. It's a lot - 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻But... I can likely do bucketlistathon too! I love the game board. 😊
A blackout! Good luck to you Susan! I believe in you. The Winterathon bingo board will be good for picking books from your owned reads. There is quite a bit of wiggle room to make the prompts work for you. If you join us in Bucket List-athon, I hope you enjoy. You can double up on prompts from Winterathon, if you want to participate in both. Happy reading!
My first roll ended up on a must-read, which worked out well. I have a pile of books to get through before December. I really enjoy how much control we get over moving around with this; it's very well planned out. Ooo, Ludluda sounds really interesting. I'll have to see if my library has it. The Lady Trent books sound fabulous. You ended up with some really varied books.
Glad your first roll worked out! I hope that the relaxed nature of the board allows for some fun while still accomplishing some goals. If you do look into Ludluda, check out Gogmagog first. It is a duology. I have really enjoyed my time with Cady. She's quite the cantankerous character. Lady Trent is a dream! I'm sad to be finishing the series, but I'm excited to see how it ends.
I'm excited about it! I'm saddened that I'm at the end of Lady Trent. It is such a great comfort series for me. Eee! Can't wait to see how the board treats you. 🤞I hope it is nice and doesn't add chaos to the mix.
I can’t wait to play this game and I think I’m planning to go series route also-I have a problem with starting series and then having WAY to many ongoing at once 😂 Excited to see how you like the books on your TBR!
There are just too many good series out there to leave any of them out! I totally get it Thank you! I hope the board is nice to you and you have a good reading month!
I love how big your board is!!!! 🤭Really curious about your thoughts on Ring Shout! I'm going to roll as I go. Can't wait to find out what I'll be reading! 🎉🎉❤❤
So excited to see this! Just posted my TBR today. The one I’m most excited for is probably spinning silver which I picked for favorite author or the stardust thief which was for end-of-year goal!
That's amazing Oona! Where did you post it? I'll go take a look. Spinning Silver has been on my TBR for a while and I just keep not picking it up. I have loved Temeraire by Naomi Novik so I don't know what's keeping me from picking up more by her. I'm currently reading The Stardust Thief and enjoying it. Happy reading!
@@Danni.Dabbles It's on this channel! And absolutely, I just finished the first Temeraire book and loved it which is making me even more excited. Thank you!
I understand how to play now!! Yay!! Haha. Excited to start! I’m gonna roll as I go I think. I am a little unsure though about the corners still. If I land or pass it, is there something special you then have to do?
Glad I could help! You can land on the corners. If you do they are really just very general prompts and they don't count against you in the color counter. So if you land on physical TBR, you just pick any book that is on your physical TBR. If you land on New Release, you just read any new release. Does that make sense?
I’m participating in both readathons plus historathon and Nonfiction November. One of my goals for 2024 was to get to the books I physically own, so I will be focusing on that during November and December. Can’t wait to pick my goodreads nominee for 2024 when it is released!
Wow! You have so many readathons to participate in. That's very fun! I hope you reach your goal. Physical TBR's seem to be the favorite of Bucket List-athon, so you aren't alone. Eee! I can't wait for the Goodreads Choice Awards!
I hope you enjoy all these books! I'm looking forward to our buddy read. The only one on your list I've read is To Be Taught and I liked it. It's quite contemplative and almost reads as 4 short stories, though a space journey and crew link them. I started on Nov 1 because I need to get all my books out of the way before Wind and Truth on Dec 6. It's a 63 hour audiobook!
Thank you! I hope you have an amazing reading month as well. Totally get starting on Nov 1. If I'm being honest some of this TBR will be read prior to Nov 15 due to library loans being due for me. Also, Eee!!!! Wind and Truth!!!! I'm so excited! I didn't realize it was so long on audio, but I'm not surprised.
Finally finished my TBR for the readathon officially today! 🎉 except my Goodreads nominee of course (excitedly waiting for that one). I’m going 100% physically owned books 😃 can’t wait to hear your thoughts on some of your picks!
@@eatsleepread I haven't mentioned it yet. I have a few in mind. It will be The Familiar, Service Model, or The Eyes are the Best Part. I really think The Familiar will win fantasy so I'm leaning in that direction.
I was thinking of maybe reading When the Moon Hatched, but i don't think that'll realistically happen. I've also been wanting to read The Invisible Library. That'll hopefully be a 2025 series.

I love The Invisible Library series. I’m on the final book. Such an underrated series.
100% agree! I don't hear many people talk about it.

You got some fun reads added. Good luck with the TBR!
Thank you! Happy reading!
Can't wait to get started on the readathon. My TBR should go up around the 15th.
Woohoo! I'm excited to see how the board treats you Bea!
Great tbr! I need to get to Within a Sanctuary of Wings 😅
Im looking forward to taking part, I made my board last night

@ me too counting the days!!
I may have done this wrong and didn’t count the corner words as spaces……😂😂 oh well lol
Also hope you enjoy ring shout!
And seeing you reading when the moon hatched 👀 I love that book!
Same lmao 😭 I saw multiple tbr videos of this readathon to make sure and I'm pretty sure one of them did skip a corner so I just went along with it 🥲
You all can play however you want. No worries! 🤣
I'm excited to read Ring Shout and When the Moon Hatched. It is a Rainy type of month!
Exciting! I did my rolls, but haven't solidified books yet - for mood reading reasons
Totally get that! I know some other books will sneak on to my TBR for that exact reason.
❤❤

@ I’m reading Annie Bot now! 🥰
@@Danni.Dabbles what book did you pick? (I’m behind on booktube so if you’ve mentioned it in a video already I haven’t seen it yet 😂)

I do think you will enjoy The Invisible Library series. They are fun. When the Moon Hatched I'm a little intimidated by, but we will see how it goes!
