I've seen these dredgers that use pressurized air...are they safe to use on plastic pipes or in apartments and mobile homes?

Not a plumber but the air snake would be an excellent tool to have! Unfortunately I just bought the drain snake and now I came accross this.

When used to unblock kitchen sink drain and kitchen drain has a dishwasher drain connected to it.
Do you disconnect dishwasher drain hose and cap dishwasher drain connection on kitchen drain before using Water Ram (air snake) ?

I was an HT in the Navy one of our jobs is plumbing. I've literally seen a lot of shit lol! I loved my water ram, also made an impressive "rifle" in a pinch. So after this video I had the bright idea of looking them up online figured I could find a decent used one or even a new had to it just HAD to be cheaper than the Milwaukee..... Hell no they aren't! M12 is pretty consistent at $399.00 full up. Water rams mostly $749.00!! With $599.00 being the cheap option.

Isn’t there a good, more affordable electric plunger that works well for the home?

The pipe that carries the water from my HVAC system gets clogged almost every year. The plumber seems to clear the clog in 5 minutes or less. What would you suggest for the best way of cleaning that pipe myself. It seems like such a simple job and it just must be lint, I have no idea, but the plumber charges a small fortune for a 5 minute job. I'm a widow and I learned to do a lot of things myself around the house, and I'd like to try cleaning that pipe myself.
It's not an outside pipe, it's at the bottom of my HVAC unit in the closet inside my house. Thank you.

Maybe run hot water through the line, use a shop-vac and pull the blocage out first.

@@danlux4954 I remember them telling my husband to run bleach through the line, but now they are telling people don't do that anymore it corrodes some of the metal parts of the HVAC. Thanks, I have a small wet/dry vac, I'll try that.

What I don't like about those black plungers is that they mark the inside of the toilet.

We don’t go over 30 psi - and start low. We learned the hard way when we first got the tool. 😬
