It was sad to hear the news about the passing of a good rider James long I remember back in the day when I was in Jamaica 🇯🇲 I was avoid horseracing follower I use to hang out by Mr feanny stable, had good friends over there, the guy who use to look after Eros, he was a good friend
Kudos rohan we respect and appreciate your drive to bring us back in time to those unforgetable jamaican horse races. James long was a really good jockey and to relive those memories is special. Nuff respect fam 💯🙏💯
The powerful James Long getting everything out of the Jose Pinchin trained Monteverdi. Mr Whalebone was trained by Kenneth Mattis and was tasting defeat for the very first time after running up a 4-race win streak. Joe Buchanan lodged an objection but nothing came of it.
The great late owner Pat Russo Jose Pinchin train Monteverdi Rules Nankepoo Twinkle Toes and Michael Silver train horse like snow time straight que and many more
There is an old race, a St ledger I think where a horse jumped the rails. Think the horse was OB Kanbobi being ridden by your favorite bimbo and he was being caught by a horse ridden by Bartley Maybe the name was hold them or so. Do u remember or have that race?
@RogerEm-dr6es thanks again for being a part of the vintage racing channel. Please like, subscribe and share with all. It was the 1984 St.Leger won by My Apology, with Hubert Bartley when O.B kanobi with bimbo jump the rail. Hopefully that race soon. Thank you.
@@serenemellody your opinion that because many people ago disagree with you that year 1993 that was some of the best riding skill you will ever see in Jamaica Joe Buchanan was a champion jockey and a hall of fame jockey
@@michaell3711 Real point put across, the amount of rides C Mamdeen rode that year was almost doubled the amount of rides the jock who came 2nd in the championship. He was booked for that year championship
