  • A compilation of everything thats been done this year to finally max her out and she is well on her way!!!! Just need to figure out how to get the cyp rotor to stay in place...that is the third distributor with that issue!!!!

      Just make sure you get it tuned and break the cams in properly. Wearing them down = less power.

      Apples yo thank you for noticing...thats one thing I'll always do because 5 years ago I didn't know back shit about Honda racing and barely anyone wanted to answer or if they did they couldn't explain why lol so I just learned it on my own with my brother and always made sure I'm helpful because we did not have much money in the beginning and we felt robbed from those we trusted. That's why I always tell people read as much as you can and only learn from those who learned the hard way lol

    put a tak weld on it or cut the rotor on use the metalpart that goes on the shaft on bolt it back on

      Has to be on M5 or nitro mix for sure

      That's a common issue on aftermarket distributors. The roll pin that holds that relector for the sensor loses tension. To fix it use and oem distributor shaft or swap the magnet sensor in an oem distributor.

    What are Reving this setup to? And how do you make the block safe for high revs?

      This setup was reved to 10k rpm because I had eagle rods but when I had aluminum rods with good pistons I revved her to 11k rpm with ceramic coated bearings and pistons

      no need for a sleeved block inless your ready to spend money to make a b on kill mode cnc werx block b20 stock size is fine just make sure everything is measured and balanced correctly and youll enjoy it

      on a stock bottom end with a good head package i would say you would be able to make 230 and can even be in the 11.50 index if built right

    I'm building a B20 VTEC all motor setup 12.5.1 compression CP pistons Eagle rods with b18 head ported skunk2 ultra street intake ported ( match ) 550cc injectors plm headers 3inch exhaust

      skunk2 pro 2 is best for your setup for max perfomance and reliability also you might need to upgrade your injectors a bit so you don't have them running over 70 percent duty cycle but just dyno it first to see how much fuel she uses and if its over 70 percent upgrade to 750 cc injectors. port the head also to make sure your getting the most out of the engine also

      abdullah hussien both are great cams but skunk2 always showed the numbers on many setups....depends on what are you trying to do with your motor drag racing or daily use

      Never had to worry about the intake air temp plus in the summer the track is hot anyways lol but we did place a new cooling system the motor is completely different today on my instagram johnny_levels

      MrSpades401 that is a 4 inch vstack and one of the originals from proper fabrication in Canada. He it also helps alot on top end especially if you have a turbo

    So I just got my head it has férrea valvetrain skunk 2 pro 1 cams in a b16 head . I have a b20 block I’m using stock ls rods with nippon pistons 13:05 I wanted to use 550 injectors run e85 . How much power u think I can look at ?

      Too much piston for those cams you need minimum pro 2 cams and it depends on what intake manifold and headers your using. Might need 1000cc injectors for the e85

      These spring at the time was rated at 95psi because i rev the hell out of it to see what she likes on the dyno we did 11k rom before but she sits at 9800 rom for max power

      very simple dont need much on the bottom inless your going for highest power my bottom end is wiseco shelf 13:5.1 pistons and eagle rods stock crank balanced

      DJ Von the top 5 b series all motors have a 4.7 final drive but if they can get a faster number on a different tranny I would love to see it lol I'll switch today also you'll need 24.5 inch slicks to compensate the 4.7

      OG SAVAGE MATT she has the hondata coil on plug now which makes you keep the distributor but if you talking about the trigger kit with it yes I'm willing to get it next year but not sure if we have to because she is doing well

    You’re on 84.5mm or 85mm on 13:5 my setup is kind of the same 85x89 13:5 with Skunk2 pro 3’s supertech springs and retainers im on pump 93 but im tuning for M5 soon

      Sanchez beautiful🔥.. so I just order some Nippon pistons with 13:5 compression I'm using ls stock rods with arp rod bolts arp head bolts aswell with a b16 head with springs valves and retainers when I got the head it came with dude said they are skunk2 pro series stage 1 cams can use these cams? Or should I get skunk2 pro stage 3 ? And also wanted to use e85 on 750s injectors. How much power can the b20 make on that ?

      The issue would be ignition timing the oem sleeves can last but as soon as something goes off on time and let's say it adds on its own due to a worn out distributor she will Crack for sure

      @@Liveforeever basically as we try to make more power with ignition timing with a sleeved block we can advance it a bit more the issue is the material and the thickness of the aluminum block it begins to flex a bit. So evertime that ignition hits with aggressive timing you start a small constant bend on the oem sleeves with alot of pressure. If I take let's say a plastic fork and constantly bend it back and forth eventually it cracks from constant wear and heat build

      i believe it for sure i'm going off the dyno i use here in my area and ours read 10 to 15% less than what it really is...also every engine likes certain parts that's why many hates all motor setups because we can buy the most expensive stuff and the engine wont like it. shit we made 292 on the edelbrock intake manifold so multiply that by .10 and youll see that it adds up quick lol

      @@bighomieJ5X the only time i spun a besring is when my retarded behind used thicker oil on standard clearance bearings but on 10.30 synthetic she ran for 3 years no problem

      Seth Lawrence 13.1 compression and max on her cams is 9800 due to the Victor x holding us back the first run was 8800 rpm the second was about 9500 rpm......will be able to max soon as this distributor holds the cup sensor well

      victor x has plenty of flow for a 89mm stroke b series, even if you had 95mm crank in which im using the vx should be enough. your car does sound good with them pro3 cams and 9500 rpm though :)

      Im considering a build but don't kno how should I approach it , I want to do 84mm pistons on my type r block, but other people say to just use a b20 block with the type r head or gsr head with my type r internals , what would u do ?

      Berto rios all depends on how fast your trying to go if you want to spend less stay with the type r crank and head and do the internals but in the end to make the most hp your going to have to go with the bigger bore and crank this is crucial when your all motor

      Paul Miller she made 285hp with the Victor x intake manifold holding us back after 8500 rpm best e.t so far was 10.9!!!! should be able to hit max by august

      85 89 with the right compression and goof race fuel youll def make power but just remember for all motor the most important thing is the ports of the head that's where the power is made and taking away restrictions by getting good headers and intake manifold!!!!!!

      for a daily i would tell you the same as i tell everyone for daily b20v 12.5.1 compression, eagle rods, skunk2 pro 2 cams or tb motorworx stage 2 big tube hytech rep headers doesn't really matter as long as they are big tubes with a 2.5 exhaust all the way back. skunk2 ultra street intake manifold with a spacer 1 liter with a 74mm throttle body 750cc injectors hondata s300 ecu gsr tranny is best for daily because the gears are to short in the b16 and type r also please make sure you use a genuine oem honda distributor the remanufactured ones are no good

      There are so many factors that changes what your asking for but if you need a quick setting to help you degree your motir wuth the right tools faster i used was plus 2 intake side, minus 2 exhaust. From that point you need to check valve to piston and see if its close to the duration and timing on the cam card. Every motor is different. Mine was on plus 3 minus 1 because it was shaved

      @civic h22 all motor custom performance cams by skunk 2 are cut to allow tight overlap. My web cams i have now are way bigger and very unforgiving

      @civic h22 all motor my pro 3s was a basic shelf item but now i have single lobe webcamshafts made for the new setup and i also have a set of the skunk2 ultra 3 for the b series which are the best ever made just had issues with the cams grinding prob from an error on my part

      @@Liveforeever my first build ever was a b20b stock block with skunk2 pro 2 cams and made 205 out of the thing. Both the tuner and i was shock but itll fit with no problem on pro 1 for sure. Clearance will be a bit tight but i made it work.
