The Arby's Wild sounds insane. Imagine "Everyone Steals 4 From You"/"You Give 4 To Each Player", which could easily empty your deck on high player counts (unless an anti final card rule is implemented here). You could also be extra mean and do "Everyone Gives 4 To [Previous/Next] Player" in an attempt to eliminate a single player.
A recipe for, what my aunt calls, "comfort cookies!" Basically, make sugar cookie dough, flatten the dough into a sheet, cover the sheet in brown sugar and cinnamon, roll the sheet into a log, refrigerate said log, cut the log into disks, make disks into cookies, optionally add frosting/icing. Learned this recipe from a Dolly Parton sugar cookie box. I like to bake!
A good recipe could be an amalgam snack mix using as many chips and crackers one can buy! It stays in line with the amalgam theme and is a recipe that works for party and group settings where uno tends to get played
That's what I was thinking, as well. It'd be cool if it only triggered if you called it out, so while it is only through luck that you can stumble upon this win condition, it is through knowledge of the game that you may actually cash in on your luck.
Cograts! Through the sacrifice of 886 UNO versions, the entity known as the UNO amalgam was born. Cheers to the further development of this monstrosity!
I feel like it’d be pretty fitting for you to include 3 recipe cards just like in the original deck, because you just so happen to have 3 types of food already in Chemicards: pizza, popcorn, and chocolate! That way, if people do choose to play by the optional rules of the food items, they have a handy dandy little recipe for each! Additionally, since not everyone would want to actually MAKE the foods, you could include more convenient instructions on the back for just microwaving store-bought popcorn/pizza and making chocolate milk so that not everyone has to eat off the same bar of chocolate!
Additionally, congrats on getting through every single known version of UNO! This is one of the few things I can say I’ve followed since the beginning, and I’m excited to continue watching it develop and eventually play it!
Found your channel from the Monopoly Cheaters Edition video and watched this series from the beginning . Massive congratulations on completing Phase 1! 👏👏
The Arby’s card may be a tad overpowered considering one of the options you can make is “you give 4 cards to each player.” It’s basically just an instant win card in most cases
I was thinking it should have an effect like Chance Time from the Mario Party games where you roll the D4 repeatedly to determine [player] [action] [number] to [player] since every category has 4 words. Keeps it from simply being an "everybody draw 4" or "everyone gives 4 to you" every time.

It's really been an honour to be able to watch all the episodes of this series so far. It's been one of those constants in my life for a LONG time now and I'm so grateful for you making it. The community around this is just awesome and you've done an amazing job cultivating it. Doesn't matter how long it takes to finish, we're gonna be here til the end. Above all else, thank you
Wow. This is absolutely amazing. Thank you so much Omichromium, for not just this donation, but all of your donations throughout phase 1! As much as I don't like admitting it, donations like these really help, and this one is unbelievably generous! Thank you for being here, and I'm so happy you've enjoyed the series THIS much, and I can't wait to show you what I have planned in phase 2!
Congratulations Luke, you did it. You completely emptied the kitchen by putting every conceivable topping on the pizza. Remind me to never let you inside a Dominos ever again.
I've been following this project since early January, and I've been constantly amazed by your commitment & dedication to this since (I don't know how you made consistent update videos every two weeks up to this point). Wishing you the best on Phase 2!
Thank you so much for the donation, and thank you for sticking around all this time! I'm happy I was able to make content that kept your interest all these months!
I've spent the past week watching all 23 videos, and I gotta say, you've nailed the pacing! Every time I had a question, you always answered it by the next video. You know how in a horror movie, when someone makes a bad decision, you'll sometimes yell at your screen as if the character can hear you? With this series, it was like whenever I said something, you turned to the camera and rationally explained why what you were doing was a good idea. This was especially the case with the time attack mechanics, every time I thought I had a valid argument you were swift to disprove exactly what I was thinking. All I can say is I've subbed, I have notifications on, and I can't wait for phase 2.
I'm glad you've enjoyed the entire series! Thanks for doing that! I'm also glad I was able to make myself clear honestly, because making a game this complex is difficult, and I still receive a lot of questions! Thank you for subscribing! Phase 2 will begin whenever the next video in the series is ready! :)
Glad to see we made it! Also, it’s wild that Uno Jr Move makes the first wheelchair inaccessible Uno game! (I could see a house rule for jump and bend LOL)
Thank you! Also Uno Junior Move is FAR from the first game to involve standing movement. It’s simply not something Mattel accounted for when making these effects. It’s similar to how games like Twister aren’t designed for people in wheelchairs. 🤷♂️
I’m usually not commenting on UA-cam videos but watching your idea evolve from a funny idea to a fully fledged project and game was a treat! I’m looking forward to phase 2 and especially the art making process! Thank you and well done
Congrats on finishing phase 1! Been watching since episode 1! Due to my strong personal beliefs, I wish to stress that I endorse making avatar mode need only the 4 base colors and not any 4 different colors.
Im not even that familiar with the regular uno rules, and this video was suggested to me completely randomly. I have zero idea what you are talking about and am just enjoying you say "wild card slap" over and over again seemingly randomly like a mental patient.
episode 1 of this series happened its way into my recommended page way back when it came out, and i couldn’t have been happier when i saw the concept. congrats on finishing the phase!
I've been watching these videos for the past few months, and it's amazing to finally be moving on towards Phase Two! This journey so far has been incredible, and I can't wait to see what happens next in the project! Thank you for this series, truly.
The way the wild Fetch card is described in this video, you can tap people with it to force them to draw two cards. If you don't want that as a mechanic you should be careful to make sure the rules document's wirding precludes that. Also, I think that the replacement word for the "Madness" mechanic should be unique for each of the chemicards characters - it adds one more opportunity for silliness with the word choices and also can help each feel more distinct.
Thank you for reminding me companions exist, Gotta love those surprisingly gamewarping bundles of cuteness. That being said dual coloured cards were definitely a necessary addition and something I was gonna recommend instead of Flex cards if they hadn't shown up here. From a balance perspective the "draw until you get a specific colour" cards are completely busted without dual coloured cards. As for the companions, in base UNO the ones that interact with wild cards are usually most impactful, As the number cards don't have inherent effects, But in Chemicards the amount of ludacris wild cards and number cards with modifiers and weird mechanical changes can make even the simplest of companions a balance nightmare.
the friendship cards are all really interesting. in their base games they're kinda useless since there's only gonna be one or two per deck, but in the amalgam when there are multiple of these it really encourages making alliances. im super excited to play this game, but im not sure if i could ever rope anyone to ever play this with me lol
As someone who has been here since the start, it's bittersweet to see this phase of the process truly complete. I'll miss seeing your thumbnails popping up on a notification, getting ready for the premiere, and then rewinding almost every card explanation because I was unable to process the information auditorily the first time lmao. Seriously, you've been doing awesome and you've been entertaining throughout the whole thing. Can't wait to see the rest of the process and then eventually having the cards in my hand myself. Don't burn yourself out and good luck! :D
I love when there's a call back to a specific mechanic that I totally forgot about by this point. Like "oh right, the bean pile was a thing in this game." Congratulations on finishing phase 1!
It has been a joy watching all of these. When I saw the premiere notification for this episode, I texted my partner in excitement and immediately proposed a rewatching marathon. I can’t wait for the beginning of part two!
RIP to the Wild Card Slap guy. o7 Congrats on getting through all* the UNO versions! Looking forward to Phase 2. Fun fact: according to UA-cam, the total length of Phase 1 is 10 hours, 46 minutes and 45 seconds.
Been waiting for this day for nearly a year. I can't believe that you actually did it. I do hope you'll somehow find two more versions, just to get the perfect number of 888.
2:50 by adding this card you not only add another wild card to the amalgam but also the malevolence of the baseball gods, which i think adds a whole other welcome dimension to chemicards
A suggestion for the companions: at the beginning of the game, players are dealt a character at random as well as 3 companions, and they may choose which one to bring into the game. This emulates the loot box and gives the player some choice but not too much in their loadout. Can't wait to see the game come together!
For the unstable isotope cards (draw until), you should make an easy way of representing what you must draw until, like color-[numbers]-[max draw], so if you have to draw until green of 1,7,6 with a max number of draws as 5 the it would be green-176-5. This allows you to greatly shorten the number of words on a lot of cards! Keep up the great work!
This is truly one of the UA-cam series of all time. I can't wait to purchase a copy and play this with my friends without telling them how thhe game works in order to torture them lmao. I did have one suggestion I wanted to make regarding the double coloured cards however, as I feel that the possible colour pairs that were chosen have some problems. My reasoning for this is because with the suggested pairs in the video I feel there would be a major point of confusion with the White&Gray double coloured cards specifically, because unless you looked directly at the colourblind support symbols of the cards to distinct it as a double coloured card, having white and gray together seems different to notice. So, I wanted to suggest making the double coloured cards have these pairs: Red&Blue, Green&Yellow, Pink&Purple, Orange&White, and Gray&Brown with the logic being that for these double coloured card pairs being easily differentiated from each other while also being able to give a quick nickname to them for theming, such as: Red&Blue is Rocket Pop, Green&Yellow is Lemon-Lime, Pink&Purple is Bubblegum, Orange&White is Creamsicle, and Gray&Brown is Rocky Road. The main issue I can tell with my suggestion is that the Orange&White and Gray&Brown cards may still be a bit too similar, however, I think an easy way to remedy this problem is by making so the top colour and bottom colour of the double coloured cards are opposite the other (i.e Orange on top of respective card, white on bottom; while the other has gray on top and brown on the bottom). Again, this is a small suggestion though and doesn't have to be implemented if it seems unnecessary. Thank you anyways Mr. Massacards for creating this beautiful amalgam regardless.
Glad you're hyped to play this with friends! :D Don't worry, the double colors aren't final, and I'll be sure to take your suggestions into consideration when I'm making the official pairs and placing them on cards!

I just thought of a new challenge mode: you can’t look at the rules for what each card does, and if you can’t remember what it does you can’t play it normally, but can still discard it as part of an effect that lets you discard cards “without triggering effects.” Other players can call your bluff, with similar rules to how you can’t play a +4 in base Uno unless it’s your only option

A good recipe could be an amalgam snack mix using as many chips and crackers one can buy! It stays in line with the amalgam theme and is a recipe that works for party and group settings where uno tends to get played
Great idea!
Shuffling your hand is the most diabolical mechanic in this entire game.
It’s quite the annoyance for sure 😂
Seeing the end of phase 1 feels weirdly sad but also nostalgic, I'm glad we actually reached this far and phase 2 will be beginning!!
I couldn’t agree more! :)
I love how the sudoku style win condition basically bakes a Exodia mechanic into the game, if your luck is extremely high, you don't need skill.
That's what I was thinking, as well.
It'd be cool if it only triggered if you called it out, so while it is only through luck that you can stumble upon this win condition, it is through knowledge of the game that you may actually cash in on your luck.
Indeed XD
I believe in the heart of the cards
Cograts! Through the sacrifice of 886 UNO versions, the entity known as the UNO amalgam was born. Cheers to the further development of this monstrosity!
Thank you thank you!
After all this time, it's done. (except for the fact that it's not)
Phase 1 will be anyway. 😂
Fantastic ideas! Also thank you for being here and enjoying the series!!!
Lads, it was a pleasure to be here with you all.
Phase 2 is still happening. 😂
Found your channel from the Monopoly Cheaters Edition video and watched this series from the beginning . Massive congratulations on completing Phase 1! 👏👏
Thank you so much for being here and watching!
The funniest part is that you can't say "THE monopoly cheaters edition video" lol
The Arby’s card may be a tad overpowered considering one of the options you can make is “you give 4 cards to each player.” It’s basically just an instant win card in most cases
the effect only applies to the NEXT player, not yourself. so it's probably only broken in team modes where you're seated next to your teammate
@@Ava_Hofmannthere is also "previous player"
Trust me, this card is far from the most powerful card. 😂
I was thinking it should have an effect like Chance Time from the Mario Party games where you roll the D4 repeatedly to determine [player] [action] [number] to [player] since every category has 4 words. Keeps it from simply being an "everybody draw 4" or "everyone gives 4 to you" every time.
If Chemicards has a thousand fans, I am one of them.

You're a true fan! I'm glad you're still here after all this time! Thank you!

Thank you for being here and commenting! :)
Congrats on finishing phase 1! Been watching since episode 1!
Due to my strong personal beliefs,
I wish to stress that I endorse making avatar mode need only the 4 base colors and not any 4 different colors.
Thank you!
Also I'll consider it!
I can only imagine, my and the bois all holding our cards and a copy of the rules. crying, from laughing, from how tragic this game will be
Ideal Chemicards experience 😂
Im not even that familiar with the regular uno rules, and this video was suggested to me completely randomly. I have zero idea what you are talking about and am just enjoying you say "wild card slap" over and over again seemingly randomly like a mental patient.
If you enjoyed this episode even with out the context, you’ll love the rest of the series!
Wild card slap means: "im gonna slap this effect from this uno version on to a wild card!"
episode 1 of this series happened its way into my recommended page way back when it came out, and i couldn’t have been happier when i saw the concept. congrats on finishing the phase!
Thank you for sticking around! :D
Huh, that’s a lot of Uno versions.
Yeah just a few. 😂
I've been watching these videos for the past few months, and it's amazing to finally be moving on towards Phase Two! This journey so far has been incredible, and I can't wait to see what happens next in the project! Thank you for this series, truly.
You’re very welcome! Glad you’ve been enjoying the series so far!
Considering the original rule didn't account for that, I'm not sure I will either. ;)
Also great idea!
Thank you for reminding me companions exist,
Gotta love those surprisingly gamewarping bundles of cuteness.
That being said dual coloured cards were definitely a necessary addition and something I was gonna recommend instead of Flex cards if they hadn't shown up here.
From a balance perspective the "draw until you get a specific colour" cards are completely busted without dual coloured cards.
As for the companions, in base UNO the ones that interact with wild cards are usually most impactful,
As the number cards don't have inherent effects,
But in Chemicards the amount of ludacris wild cards and number cards with modifiers and weird mechanical changes can make even the simplest of companions a balance nightmare.
Heck yes! And so true!
I’m so gonna buy this when it comes out in 10 years
I appreciate you saying that! :)
the friendship cards are all really interesting. in their base games they're kinda useless since there's only gonna be one or two per deck, but in the amalgam when there are multiple of these it really encourages making alliances. im super excited to play this game, but im not sure if i could ever rope anyone to ever play this with me lol
Glad you’re hyped! I’m sure you’ll find people who want to play it with you!
Thank you thank you thank you! Glad you've stuck around! :D
Phase one has been completed. Phase Two Looms Over The Horizon… and I’m ready for it
Good 😈
I love when there's a call back to a specific mechanic that I totally forgot about by this point. Like "oh right, the bean pile was a thing in this game."
Congratulations on finishing phase 1!
Phase 2 is going to have so many callbacks! Thank you for your support!
It has been a joy watching all of these. When I saw the premiere notification for this episode, I texted my partner in excitement and immediately proposed a rewatching marathon. I can’t wait for the beginning of part two!

@MassacresMansion I'm so excited to cheer on my friends as they play a Blue 4, that might be my favorite.
You should review the game’s 12:35 gamemode, and not the actual game.
That would be funny.
A suggestion for the companions: at the beginning of the game, players are dealt a character at random as well as 3 companions, and they may choose which one to bring into the game. This emulates the loot box and gives the player some choice but not too much in their loadout. Can't wait to see the game come together!
That's a neat idea!
I feel like character should be player choice (coinflip if two people pick the same).
27:56 the amount of emotion there sent me into a coma.

Literally the Ultra Custom Night of card shedding games
Absolutely!
Fantastic idea! Indeed, keywords are going to be a huge topic in phase 2, so stay tuned to see how I handle that! :)
@@MassacresMansion I'm so pumped!
Don't worry, the double colors aren't final, and I'll be sure to take your suggestions into consideration when I'm making the official pairs and placing them on cards!

We’ll see what happens. If I have the time, I already know I’ll start with MCE.

To keep up with the theme of chemicards, you should include recipes for different types of chemicals.

first thing first. woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ive been here from episode 1 and im loving it keep it up will defiantly support the Kickstarter but enough about me your so great entertaining and knowledgeable on game design this has and will continue to be quite a ride i cant wait
second thing is the about your elimination of "my uno" now i know you cant order each of us a custom image but i have 3 ideas to choose from about how to include it:
1. pick a random subscriber (in general or by comment on a specific video like a giveaway) than add his likeness or an non copyrighted image of his choice to one wild card.
2. same as my first idea but his name is attributed to the cooking recipe from "uno utterly butterly omega 3" and have him choose it.
3. the community decides through polls on an image from a viewer submitted gallery or from a preexisting gallery that you provide and then that gets on a wild card.
Thank you thank you! Also these are funny ideas. XD

Woah neat!
