He has no intention of fixing or storing that car he had the car sitting in the bushes for 5 years.i no a bs when I see one when y'all finish the car I bet put the car is back in the same place getting rotten he would sell the car a person who will take good care of it if one of them trees falls on that car is over.....

You don’t put fuel in a nasty tank like that and try to run it all that crap in the injectors and fuel lines leave it be and let the real mechanics fix it
This should be a video on what not to do to a Delorean to get it running! For one in this condition that is. It's not your grandpa's old Chevy! This car is going to need about 50 to 60k worth the work maybe more. Definitely less if he knew how to do the work himself.

Bosch K Jetronic fuel injection. Continuous fuel flow, to each injector. The amount of fuel flowing is controlled by the fuel distributor, depending on the amount of air through the flap.
Quite a common fuel injection system in the 1980s.
I worked at oriellys..we could look up up for delorens. They even put a Mr. Fusion in the computer system as a joke.

The motor is a 2849 cm³ V6 PRV (Peugeot - Renault -Volvo), 130 cv din. If you want more power, in the Renault 25 you have this motor with 2 turbo

Better be careful with those abandoned DeLoreans last time I found one abandoned it took me 3 days to get back from 1985. Not because I didn't know how to work it but because I was having a good time and it took a bit of explaining to my parents and teachers why I'm older than they are and refuse to do my homework and go to bed at 9.

AS far as I know, some guy has the warehouse with tonnes of DeLorean parts still shelved brand new, you could basically build several new cars from them.

The fuel pump onvthose older injections dont run before it cranks
the first year had a filler door on the hood so you dident have to open the hood to put gas in. later models took the door away so u did have to open the hood.

I worked on Delorens at a Dealership that sold them back in the 80's, they are junk, the only car that I ever worked on that fell apart in front of me.
