You can make the fleece cheetah way louder if you add a open air intake and no muffler exhaust
I ended up doing a LMC dash for my 2000 ram, since it was a Az truck it was completely destroyed. Lmc dashes are really nice build quality
I tell you I had such a hard time installing my mbrp exhaust on my 24 valve also. Did it by myself on a lift. That front clamp off the down pipe made me so pissed 😂

I’ve been running a full Thuren setup for a few years now. Quality stuff and at the time of purchase I saved a couple grand compared to Carli. Your 2nd gens are looking sweet!
Thanks! I’ve got the thuren front swaybar on my O2 I love it, I plan on getting the front fox reservoir shocks from Thuren to Complete to set up sometime soon!

Need an update on that transmission my man! I've recently bought my grandfather's old 2002 2nd gen & my build list is honestly looking pretty similar to yours. Seriously starting to consider TierOne over a BD, ATS, etc. Also SHOUTOUT for showing me Richmond Auto Upholstery; new leather will be on it's way soon. Loving the videos, keep them coming
That’s awesome! It’s doing pretty good, though I only have about 6K miles on it so far. I just got the new 125hp injectors, once I get those in and a better lift pump(possibly) Then I’ll go with the 1badvp44 custom quadzila tuning, then I want to give the transmission it’s fair shake.. an we’ll see how it does!

Looks like mine if mine wasn't covered in rust. I still drive it regardless. I have a 2019 and still drive my 01 more.
The 5.9 is more reliable. 19-current (2024) have too many EGR, DPF regen issues, and trailer wiring issues.

If you torque the exhaust clamps to 45 ftlbs like the instructions say the exhaust doesn’t move at all with the normal clamps

I’m not sure how it compares to the Fass or Air Dog but Fleece offers a drop in PowerFlo lift pump
Love mine. Hit 702 on the dyno. Didn't drop fuel pressure at all.
I don’t know if that would work on my truck.. it didn’t have a in tank fuel pump from the factory, just a lift pump. And now I have it set up with a sump so I think my only options would be an air dog or fass🤷🏼♂️

How did u get the inter cooler pipe to match with the turbo. I tried to install a cheetah on my 2nd gen and had the same problems you had with installing it
East Valley. You turn a wrench on 01' Sport. Needing a Thuren front end done.
I can sculpt stone, but can't turn wrenches for 💩!!!

Hey dude what’s the wheel setup on the sliver 2 gen? I been thinking going with a classic look.
BFG’s and the wheels are eagle alloys, there like a knock off of weld typhoons. But the Eagle alloys have been discontinued and I’m pretty sure the welds have been too, best bet is to just keep an eye out on Facebook marketplace and find a good used set
If i do this to my 5.9 which is same as yours, is it a guarantee that ill have to buy a 5 inch exhaust to fit the new turbo? Does that mean it will delete all the emission systems in my stock exhaust? Are there any other components you had to source for your turbo outside of what cheeta sent you?

Best oil is the T6 full synthetic
How do you like them bf goodrichs on your truck?
They were good, but I had a vibration over 70mph, so discount swapped them out for some Nitto ridge grappler‘s and they’re smooth as can be!
What all did y’all do to get the oil drain to fit
Cut it in half and used some rubber hose to extend it about 2ish inches in the middle. Made it more flexible too that way lol

Definitely a drop in turbo on factory applications. Yours is not. Dps 3 piece manifold, hx40, with down pipe… if you were to have had factory set up it would have been drop in… beautiful truck though. Identical to mine except mines a 99
Yea semi drivers like I used to do do use it. Cause it’s cheep! Not cause it’s good. And a 15L Cummins takes more then 3 gallons of oil like your 5.9. You should use Amsoil in your personal truck nothing else. FYI you just took performance out of the turbo by putting the 3 inch or 3.5 inch exhaust damn pipe instead of the 4” why would you go down in size. ? Cheetah is a great turbo but what was wrong with the HX 40 which is a larger more efficient turbo if that’s what your looking for.
Shaffer's & Cenpeco are great oils also.

4 inch downpipe wouldn’t fit up with that turbo, I’m not a custom fabricator.. so I couldn’t make the 4” pipe fit the cheetah turbo. I had to use the 3 1/2 inch downpipe or at least that kind of connection. As for the HX40, I should’ve just kept it. That was my bad on not knowing what was wrong. I thought the turbo was bad, when in reality, I just didn’t have big enough injectors to spool it up. I found that out after I put the cheetah in and had the exact same performance, then I put the 125hp injectors in and Bam, 40+ psi…
Also, I work at a ram dealership and the only oil they use for diesels, If you get an oil change, is T5 Synthetic Shell Rotella…
Does the fleece cheetah have a T3 mount?
It’s the same as the factory turbo, which I think is a T3🤷🏼♂️

What is you max boost now?
I hit 52psi on a race tune from 1badVP44 performance, but the EGTs we’re way too high. So now I run quadZila tuning and I max out at around 42psi.
Why turn the duramax back too stock? The warranty is already done and gone at this point no matter what
They have emissions testing in Maricopa county and I believe he said they took that in on a trade. So they have to put it back to stock to sell. I’m so glad I no longer live in a place that has emissions testing
@@agmobb99 That’s 100% correct! lol When the guy traded it in he gave back all the emissions equipment as part of the deal, they turned it back to stock and sold it. That has happened a quite few times, one time this guy traded a lifted 2018 Cummins in with only 30k miles, they sent me on a 2 hr drive to go pick up the emissions equipment from the guys house who traded the truck in. That emissions equipment is so expensive if they don’t get it on trade with a deleted truck, they’ll usually just wholesale the truck..
@@The02CumminsRAM The emissions equipment is usually pulled off the truck for a reason. How do you know that the emissions equipment you are getting on trade with the truck is functioning and working properly? Is it just a role of the dice?

In the video they were unknown size. Now I have 125 hp vco injectors. But it’s way too smoky.. thinking about going down to 90 hp sac injectors.

lmao youre using a muffler on a diesel. whyy
The drone gets really obnoxious on these trucks when straight piped, but even with a muffler these things are plenty loud and still sound pretty good. The only thing you’d be losing with the muffler is the turbo bark when you let off at mid to high boost
@@AkimasaJP I’ve ran a straight pipe on my 98 24v and there is no drone lol and I even have a rust hole in my door so everything is louder
