I've always felt that going against the established order of the setting yields the most interesting results. Dark Side Jedi/Republic, Neutral/Light Side Sith/Empire. I want to see a what-if universe where the Empire and the Sith take over and are actually beloved by their citizens and are pretty good at governing. Imagine if Darth Sidious wasn't a backwards evil guy and actually made smart decisions?
my full light characters end being dark 3 xd and my main has like 50 light side points for a decision wich has very little to do with being good, sparing to utilize seems to be good xd ah, warrior and jaessa murder mode, good times

I'm quite sure that galaxy under Sith would prosper, always pursuing new technologies and conquering more space, it's people either competent or dead, and therefore all people very smart, pragmatic and always willing to pursue more and to try harder.

As power consolidates under a select few, incompetence is shielded by birthright and talent is crushed under cruelty. Both the Jedi and the Sith do quite often make plenty of valid points, though. I mean, I am finding the phrase "You never truly know how much you've learned until you teach it to another" to be truer and truer with each passing day.

To be fair, he was still just a Sith Acolyte, and you are, by this point, a full-fledged Sith (albeit as an Apprentice) whom was already stated multiple times to be unusually strong in the Force. He's basically a raw recruit trying to defeat a trained soldier, not going to end well.

@@KarakTo Point still stands that he was basically a total amateur trying to fight a trained Sith (remember, it's heavily implied that you aren't completely untrained, and that you had received some measure of training before your tenure under Tremel, and that Tremel was basically trying to add certain "finishing touches" at an accelerated rate in the hopes of stopping Vemren from becoming Baras' new apprentice) who even Baras himself recognizes as having a tremendous level of untapped potential and power.

You'll find that most of the "Dark" and "Light" choices actually aren't what the word means at all. Explorign the game without paying attention to those choice will make it a lot more interesting. Sometimes you'll find some beautiful routes, like this one.

As if sending the Jedi on Balmorra to Baras to be interrogated can be considered a light side decision when the possibility of an even worse end from using the ravager exists there.

I played my sith warrior as a noble knight of the empire, striking down the enemies of the sith without mercy but always treating my allies with respect. We won't ever overthrow the degenerate and decadent republic if we debase ourselves like animals, we must prove the dark side to be superior.
My favorite thing about this Sith Warrior is that he gets away with so much stuff simply because he’s built different and I love that he knows it.
Haha same I've recently started replaying it. Got bored of WoW, went back to Swtor after 3 years. Levelled a Vanguard and now the only class I never played Smuggler. Have to say it's nice to play again after so long.

I just came back. I have 2 max out toons and forgot how fun it is. Once i maxed out a character i never went back to WOW it got boring hit max level. At least in SWTOR there is something to do and experience in this. Plus really gets the RP going
Got bored of WoW, started SWTOR in December. BfA sucks, the only good thing is the allied races and some of the mounts.
When i found out I could do this, it became a staple of all my SW playthroughs .
On a side note, i could of sworn there was an option to make the son watch too.

I did this my first play through. Even though I really wanted to exalt the darkside I still went this route since I was RPing my character as a sort of manipulative brute... I thought I'd kill Grathan and his whole family damn the consequence but when I got back I got this option and I was very pleased with myself. Vette was not.

Sparing a life of a more "innocent" being than the one you're about to face, while endangering your life to technically save them.
@SSJ I spared the Jedi on Balmorra as a strategic decision. Baras wants to know everything possible about Karr's padawan. That knight may have the knowledge he seeks. So what, I delay her death until Baras decides to use the ravager again. I spared Rathari on Nar Shadaa to gain an ally for the future. Rathari knows he's not strong enough to defeat me.
I took this course on the first walkthrough, there is no way i was going to let go off such comedy!!

Light side sith inquisitor is the most fun I had, everything about it was compelling, people are genuinely amazed and grateful that you're really a hero, recommend to anyone. Played female, idk how the dudes voice acting was, maybe it was better who knows.

Yeah, replaying vanilla SWTOR really reminds one how fun the game used to be. Sigh, but all good things eventually come to an end. It's sad the game didn't reach the same satisfaction as the vanilla game did from start up until The False Emperor flashpoints.

There are a few points in the game that are really annoying in terms of not going back to 'socialize' some more in. I think the trooper has an optional mission called R&R where you go visit a lady for some recreational activities. I would have liked to see something of the sort with Ladra, or the Sith lady at the entrance to the Korriban Academy (the one that says something about a proper sith lady not playing around with one below her station)
