HI, Andreas. Couple of questions. Why did you need to reset the securing nuts inside the TACX roller frames. I guess the Kreitler axles do not extend far enough to secure outside the frame? Have you ever tried neodymium magnets as resistance for any of your Kreitlers? I use them with my 4.5in alloy drum Kreitlers by installing them on a piece of angle steel just in front of the rearmost drum. It's amazing the field they create even though the Kreitler drums are ALU. You can move the angle bar closer or further away to adjust reisistance. Finally where do you film your outside videos in the park? Looks a lot like Quebec City to me.

Hi Gary! Thanks for watching! You are right, the axles were not long enough to reach outside the frame. I had to drill a access hole.
I never tried magnets on my kreitler. A great idea that seems to be applied on the insideride rollers I also use. They have a magnet installed on a small lever that offers 3 positions of additional resistance.
Those videos are shot in Montreal, two cities that sometimes share similar types of architecture.

@@AndreasIhm I was close. The park scenes reminded me of the Plaines of Abraham in Quebec. But then again, we used to always go for the World Cup Race in Montreal on the Eddy course and the scenery reminded me of the parks along Park Ave. Check out 10 of the magnets for cheap at Amazon and with oblongs cut in the angle steel, you'll have variable resistance easily. Believe it is the Lenz effect. Believe I have had my Kreitlers for 33+ years and had several interactions with Al Kreitler, God rest his soul.
