I just received a pair of these. I ordered the tan colour. I have just worn them around the house, because it is still winter here, but they feel really nice. They are a step up from my boat shoes.
Hey, Roger! Thanks for sharing! Funny, I was in the new comments section RIGHT as you posted. :) I'm doing the same thing...wearing some Oak Street loafers around the house to break in since I can't wear them outdoors yet! I'm a reeeeaaally big fan of these Travel loafers, though. I actually just got the regular "Patnoflex" in a few days ago from Huckberry to do a comparison between these and the non-Travel version... we'll have to see once I get some wear on the new ones, but I don't think they'll be better than these Travel loafers. Thanks again!

Thanks! Was just an unboxing so I didn't have much to say at the time. However, will be doing an update on these and comparing them to the regular version (not the Travel) of the Patnoflex in the next few weeks.

I think they are great, and a simple but still distinctive shoe. Break in was basically zero. The leather is soft from the box. I wore them all day on a Vegas trip and did get a blister on one pinky toe, but I walked A LOT that day. Any shoe without socks probably would have given me a blister. Hope that helps!

You should! Although I recall you not being much of a loafer guy right? These are loafers distilled down to what makes them great. Would love to hear your thoughts if you ever do get a pair.
@@rockymtnstyle Had my eye on the new Rhodes loafers too. The big hesitation is that they have cemented soles.

I was looking at those a couple months ago, but it had some bad reviews of falling apart I believe. I'd say those are a step above penny loafers due to less adornments, but the nubuck still makes them casual. Enjoy!

I do love these shoes but they are the most uncomfortable shoes I own. I still wear them a ton and will replace them when they’re warn out with another pair
Ah that's a shame to hear. I still really like mine! I guess with slip on or loafers, it's a ll about how the shape and your foot marry up.
How do they fit compared to some boots and shoes that you have? I want to get a pair, but am not too sure on what size to get. Like do they run more true to size or slightly bigger like most boots do?
Hey, UncannyFox! Good question. So normally I wear a 10-D in most goodyear-welted sort of footwear, whether its a boot or a dress shoe. For example, 10-D in Thursday Captain, Grant Stone Diesel and Loafers, and Truman 79 Last. I wear a 10.5-D in some items, such as the Allen Edmonds Cavanaugh loafer and the Thursday Diplomats. I also wear a 10.5 to 11.0 in most athletic sneakers. All in all, I'd say the Astorflex loafers are true to size as listed on the Huckberry site. They do the conversion for you it seems. I ordered a 10 and they came as a European 43. They fit absolutely perfect. I'd highly recommend. If you do end up picking some up, here's an affiliate link that would help the channel! How was the fit compared to your American size?
Good question! I normally wear a 10 in shoes like this and boots, which is what I ordered from Huckberry. Turns out this is a 43 on the box, and they fit absolutely perfectly for me. Hope that helps!
