I got it to work. Thank you so much. I found out where I messed up on the video the code it was the old update, actually copied the one that you copied on the screen, which was the new update not that last one from two years ago, but it works now. Thank you so much.!

Really appreciate your videos, I did everything exactly as shown and for some reason it still crashes, hopefully I can figure out what the issue is but thank you again for the tutorials
Same here. Rolled back game, re-installed Mod as directed. Still crashes. The issue is in the resource/sharedasset files. The game starts fine until those files are replaced. Same issue with the 2021 & 2022....
Yep... figured that out too. I Confirmed the one that works for the 2023 MOD. It is 128 asset( all others crash if they are added ).

@@iAnthunythat part is fine, I just want to save my modding work because I’ve replaced so many drivers. So I’m thinking take out the modded files and then reinstall the game and update it then do this process install the mods like usual just using my modded files if that makes any sense

I tried this twice but when it downloaded the depot it was missing some folders and they were different each time. The game crashed everytime I booted it. Is this a mistake on my end?
Mine crashes when i open it also is it compatible with the dlc
I did everything you said but when i try to get on the game it says An error occured while launching this gsme: Downloads disabled
Update:Now it wont let me play the game until I take it to online mode and update it

i maneged to get the mod to rework but all the names are still from the 2020 cars. any ideas what to do?

i tried reputting them in and it still hasnt worked
I did the process, reinstalled the game, and redid the mod and still doesn’t work. Do you know why is that???

I still can't play with mods it wants me to update even when I'm offline
The game now doesn't say update but it crashes as soon as i open the game
this may get mods working,,,but it still removes some of my paid dlc...i did this just for a test...i have backups...here is the difference
15.5 GB 1,765 Files, 32 Folders all dlcs working ...your method>16.1 GB 1,867 Files, 28 Folders...missing dlc...this is the difference of the NASCARHeat5_Data folders...all other files ,exe UnityPlayer.dll are same size...its still adding the 22 update patch

I’m wondering since I modded a lot of drivers and stuff like gowen does, can I take my mods out of the directory, put them in a seperate folder and then when I reinstall the mods use those files, that way I don’t have to do months of work all over again after I do this.
It’s funny you say that. I was thinking the same thing. I’ve made load of changes. When I made them all I made copy’s in a separate folder just incase this happened…so far…I’ve not put them all back in…I am to scared to. I don’t want to have to remake everything again.

@@JustLiamgood news, not only did the tutorial work but reinstalling the mods with my custom changes worked as well! Hell of a tutorial brother and happy modding!

i did what you said and i figured it out but on steam when it says nascar heat 5. it dosn't give me the update option which im assuiming it did not work when i did the thing in console.
You don’t want it to say update. Go offline on steam. Close steam down via task manager. Then reopen. Make sure steam is in offline mode to play. This is a fix until modders can get the game working with DLC again

@@JustLiam i set appmanifest_1265860.acf to read only and that will stop game from patching
