Big thank you to Thundercat for allowing this to be posted in its uncut format, music videos included! Most copyright owners block everything :( Enjoy!
There is so much to love about this album. Walk on By is a gem of a Kendrick feature. Tokyo is such a hilarious song to me, it is honestly one of my favourites off the album.
"uh uh" was the first song i heard from him back in 2018 and i've been play bass with my dad ever since, so im really glad you getting into this album.
haven't seen the reaction yet, but you would love flying lotus! 100%, I feel like he is right down you alley. Especially his albums Cosmagramma and You're Dead. The production is batshit crazy all over the place with a lot of IDM influences mixed with hip hop
This album has been a great help to me as a kid. I was introduced to Thundercat in 2016ish, with Tron Song, and since then his music has been what I used to unwind. Especially when my brother died, Lava Lamp was the song I used to cope with that loss.
I absolutely love the “Them Changes” music video and the interpretations on what’s it about, one of my favorites is that it’s about gang violence and how it ruined this unnamed man’s life and now all he can do it sit and watch these people selling these swords to kids, feeding the violence, as he has to sit and watch kids in blue kill kids in red, vice versa.
saw thundercat live back in 2016, i was standing front row and it was easily one of the most impressive performances ive ever seen, all 3 members of the band were incredible. adore this record
This album is a personal 10/10 for me, so many fun heartfelt bops and sad jams to sit alone in your room to. Haven’t stopped listening since it came out. Love Thundercat! Thanks for reacting to this💐
With the heavy themes of death, i can't help but think about his friend Austin Peralta, a musician who passed away at a young age and was very close to FlyLo and Thundercat, the song Lotus and the Jondy was about this trio.
Them Changes is one of the most introspective break up songs. After getting your heart broken, the concept of giving your heart away again is ridiculous to the point where you metaphorically “lost” it. Thundercat not just an amazing bass player but an amazing artist!
Just a note that Tron Song Suite II is about his cat tron. He wrote the original song Tron Song from one of his earlier albums. You would personally LOVE the music video for the first Tron Song. It’s right up your alley
You might not see this, but there was a Japanese cd only special track called "Hi" featuring mac miller. Its pretty easy to find on youtube and I feel it's worth a listen
The cover, I believe, of the album is a still of Sho'Nuff. The antagonist of the 80s movie 'The Last Dragon' which I watched a million times as a kid in the 90s.
You HAVE heard Flying Lotus and you NEED to listen to his mixtape ‘Duality’ under his (at the time) secret rap alias Captain Murphy Also Flying Lotus and Thundercat consider themselves one and the same artist with how often and easily the collaborate with most everything in their lives
For any Flying Lotus fans in the comments who haven’t listened to his mixtape Duality under the name Captain Murphy finish this video AND DO THAT IMMEDIATELY AFTER
Bin Reaper 2 by babytron would be a fire album reaction. It’s like lyrical but kinda corny I think u will enjoy it. Love your content by the way keep up the good work ❤
if you scroll to the bottom of genius, there is a more info button that sometimes will show the album credits of who played what instrument! just a lil tip
I'm kind of a casual viewer, was wondering if any of the commenters who are more involved with his patreon know if there's ever been any talk of checking out an Aesop Rock reaction? He's kinda dove down into Earl, Ka, MF DOOM, and RTJ which makes me think he's kinda on the track of having Aes mentioned.
Love this album. Straight jams in my headphones. I have always felt that the kendrick verse was a little misplaced on that song. Maybe the connection is flying over my head. Good verse though on its own.
@@nibblet445 what?? Lmao, I bumped this record all week and I can recite the lyrics from memory it's so good. Imagine being a fan of clipping. while also being so dismissive of other Industrial Rap albums, cringe.
Big thank you to Thundercat for allowing this to be posted in its uncut format, music videos included! Most copyright owners block everything :(
Enjoy!
That’s why he’s the GOAT! THE GOAT!
you should see ariana grande do a cover of "them changes" in memory of mac miller as it was his favorite song.
ua-cam.com/video/Sa0upTDZDYQ/v-deo.html
that's the adult swim video
that is based. more people like him please
You should absolutely give Cosmogramma (Flying Lotus's album) a spin. It has some absolutely mind melting production.
Top 10 album of the 2010s.
Absolutely ethereal.
Definitely agree. The loopy sounds of LAX became more adventurous and spacey. Too fire.
It’s so hard for me to pick one to recommend Bob to listen to first between before the quiet, Cosma, and you’re dead
Yeess, such a perfect and unusual album
You're dead may be a better overall representation of what he's capable of, the vocals may be a more fun pull for Bob.
There is so much to love about this album. Walk on By is a gem of a Kendrick feature. Tokyo is such a hilarious song to me, it is honestly one of my favourites off the album.

Has bob done "Awaken my love!" yet? If not he 100% needs to.

I second this

BOB YOU SHOULD ABSOLUTELY GIVE A HEARD TO "IT IS WHAT IT IS" (thundercat) beautiful album, thx for react to DRUNK

Love Thundercat! Thanks for reacting to this💐
Same, one of my all time favorites

This album is a modern day classic! Hands down!
This is a great modern jazz album
BOBBY YOU JUST REACHED A MILLIE ON THE WHOLE LOTTA RED ALBUM REACTION 🎉
He did 2 weeks ago, pretty sure he talked about it in some video too
I would definitely pay to watch Bob react to albums live on stage
I was expecting this for soooooo long man, appreciate what you do❤
Just a note that Tron Song Suite II is about his cat tron. He wrote the original song Tron Song from one of his earlier albums. You would personally LOVE the music video for the first Tron Song. It’s right up your alley
Conocí a THUNDERCAT por este álbum y me encanta escucharlo, creo que lo disfruto más cuando estoy ebrio jaja
You might not see this, but there was a Japanese cd only special track called "Hi" featuring mac miller. Its pretty easy to find on youtube and I feel it's worth a listen
Would love to see you listen to Mista Thug Isolation by Lil Ugly Mane. Honestly a full discography dive on him would be incredible
Vouch we need this
A reaction to MTI and Volcanic Bird Enemy would be great, would love to see Bob's reaction to the total 180 LUM's style took
The cover, I believe, of the album is a still of Sho'Nuff. The antagonist of the 80s movie 'The Last Dragon' which I watched a million times as a kid in the 90s.
Thundercat was in Suicidal Tendencies once upon a time and thats how I was first introduced to him!
You should definitely see his tiny desk performance too
You HAVE heard Flying Lotus and you NEED to listen to his mixtape ‘Duality’ under his (at the time) secret rap alias Captain Murphy
Also Flying Lotus and Thundercat consider themselves one and the same artist with how often and easily the collaborate with most everything in their lives
Thundercat is one of my favorites and its great to see someone reacting to him
I just saw thundercat live last week, nice timing
most excited i’ve ever been for a reaction!
I would strongly recommend Apocalypse by Thundercat. It was my intro to him and Heartbreaks + Setbacks is super moving
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO WALK ON BY IS SO BEAUTIFUL KENDRICKS VERSE YES
Lmao when he said “bass god” I thought he said “based god” lol shoutout lil b fr

Love your content by the way keep up the good work ❤
No guitar, Thundercats 6 string bass can just sound like that with how big it is 😂
Great video!
BANGERS ON BANGERS ON BANGERS
Cool..... was waiting for this
I would love for you to do Flying Lotus’ You’re Dead album.
cosmogramma first
Learned of thundercat through tpab
Pretty cool this is uncut!
Listening to Them Changes without being at least slightly buzzed is incorrect listening.
if you scroll to the bottom of genius, there is a more info button that sometimes will show the album credits of who played what instrument! just a lil tip
Uh uh is like Mario kart on mushrooms
those pianos keys at 14:38 gave me massive nujabes aruarian dance nostalgia
its a guitar not a piano, they both have strings but theres a difference

Flying Lotus's project "YOU'RE DEAD!" is a good listen too!
You should do Cosmogramma or You’re Dead!
Is the powers that b on your list of album to react to?
Such an underrated album! Who else can get Michael McDonald & Kenny Loggins on the album but also Kendrick Lamar & Wiz Khalifa 🔥
After listening to Tokyo, I think a collab between thundercat and Tempalay would be AMAZING
Vol.1: Flick Your Tongue Against Your Teeth and Describe the Present
BOB i need to see that supreme clientele album reaction by ghostface killah
Love this album. Straight jams in my headphones. I have always felt that the kendrick verse was a little misplaced on that song. Maybe the connection is flying over my head. Good verse though on its own.
I agree it's a great verse but it just feels like something that he had stored away until he was ready to use it
Modern classic
BOB, PLEASE DO FLYING LOTUS! You're Dead! and Cosmogramma.
I love this album

You play diablo??? Did you play 2? Or the remastered version?
MEOW MEOW, MEOW MEOW MEOW, MEOW MEOW, MEOW
Dälek - From Filthy tongues of Gods and Griots is so underrated and probably the forefathers of Industrial Rap which Death Grips took inspiration on.
it’s not good either
@@nibblet445 what?? Lmao, I bumped this record all week and I can recite the lyrics from memory it's so good. Imagine being a fan of clipping. while also being so dismissive of other Industrial Rap albums, cringe.
