I'm a dude with anger issues and the way he pushes the microphone in their face would have me worked up alone. He's clever as hell and knows how to push and likely learned that skill, as you stated, through physical violence at times. He is in research mode 24/7 and probably treats it like hes writing or researching a peer reviewed topic. Its amazing to see how he just keeps it going for every artist for 15-20 minute interviews minimum.

I tried to play it cool, but he played it even cooler..he started talking to me like we grew up together. I love how grounded he was. Respect.

I've been a fan of Nardwuar since seeing him on much music in the 90's. I'm so glad that his passion and dedication was recognized, and is respected and loved by so many people.
The reason he does this is so his son has royalty for the albums forever. He's also, as a 3 year old, one of the producers of his last two albums. That's a great gift.
