Obviously, time is meant to be interpreted by the player's actual gaming time. In the real world, nothing actually took hours; that’s just how it in-game. If it changed to actual real time during the mission, whatever57010 likely still would have complained.
In Paleto Score Setup, 4 cop cars arrive at the bank after alarm triggers. In the actual heist, only one's there and the two cops aren't expecting a robbery, so why not just wait for them to enter the bank, take them hostage and walk away quietly with the money. You'd say that you gotta stick to the plan, but the plan failed anyway since they couldn't escape by boat.

If they started shooting the outside ones they'd likely lock the bank before they could get in yeah that logic makes no sense... It probably would have been possible to get everything without making a sound. But then the mission wouldn't have been any fun...

Hey I don't know if you've covered it yet but I thought of a logical flaw in the casing the jewel story mission. Lester gets up a satellite image of the roof to find you a vantage point so you can take a picture of the vents. Well surely it would be easier just to get a satellite image of the vents

That would give them some cover and make it easier to get the juggernaut suits..

The AViator umm....... you do realize Trevor steals the chopper from Fort Zancudo for the Merryweather Heist right? And no “takedowns with ease” are done on him. If a tracking device was really the issue, then the chopper would’ve been found later that day. It is also the base of operations for the military so there are just as many people there as there are during the Paleto score.

About the train, they originally were not going to escape that way. The plan was messed up because the cops showed up at the bay and franklin said he would find another way. So it was kind of an escape of necessity
Apparently it takes place current year. In the Bunker DLC Agent 14 mentions how it's 2017 and how what they're doing is so current or something. Isn't hard to believe that he could buy a car some point after the events of the base game. Especially since he gets a ton of money during the assassination missions.
They didnt take the cargobob because 1. They have to remove their armour which exposes them to drive 2. The military has the area surrounded? 3. The army could track it down 4.they would leave franklin alone

The things in the first observation (the one about Lester and other characters going places) have one simple explanation: Off-scenes.. there is no need to show everything. About the train, they originally were not going to escape that way. The plan was messed up because the cops showed up at the bay and franklin said he would find another way. So it was kind of an escape of necessity

Swat teams actually do respond in ordinary police cars if the situation calls for it: like armored suspects with mini guns
They didnt take the cargobob because
1. They have to remove their armour which exposes them to drive
2. The military has the area surrounded?
3. The army could track it down
4.they would leave franklin alone
Actually they wouldnt need to remove the armor beause Franklin wasnt wearing armor so he could drive and the rest of the gang goes in the back remeber that the cargobob is able to lift tanks so it would make sense

Why the fuck didn't they follow the plan? They had to sail on the boat. Why then did they send the Franklin there? In a trailers Trevor says "You've been shot, amigo" in another place. Everything is wrong with final game logic.
if you listen to the dialogue it says that the police have a huge presence their show they can't go on the boat.
Great video. Another thing I noticed (you might have seen it) is that when they board the train and when the train leaves it has blue containers but in the cutscene it has yellow containers. Also when the train leaves from the factory it appears to be longer if you look closer

The things in the first observation (the one about Lester and other characters going places) have one simple explanation: Off-scenes.. there is no need to show everything. Ok this may be weird but pratically every open world game do it. (And often linear games too) but the rest.. damn ! Quite clever ! I Hope they see it so in the future it doesn't happen. Great video.

nobody gave a fuck when Trevor stole the Cargohob from Fort Zancudo (Merryweather Heist Offshore) to land in nearby airfield. And also you didn't even need to destroy the pursuing chopper, even thou she's much faster and could've reached without a problem. The R* are full of crap in this game
