I quit when it came to my attention that grown men were making bets in the locker room on who could have sex with me first. I was 15. Gross. This sort of thing is super common in police departments all across the country.
Oh dear! My community runs one of the largest and most popular explorer programs in our area. It’s run/attended by several officers and my daughter spent her senior year there. She loved it. The head officer is a female. I wonder if the addition of female officers to the explorer unit kept it pretty “clean?” They spent a ton of money on those kids.
Being the daughter of a retired law enforcement officer I'm well aware officers are human and make mistakes. But the treatment the detective received pissed me off. I don't care what your profession is you sexually assaulted a child you deserve NO special treatment or show of respect.
Thing is, treating them without any respect when you're trying to get them to fess up is a surefire way to make them WAY LESS willing to fess up. You gotta get them relaxed and comfortable enough for them to possibly slip up or even just outright confess.

Like she has no idea wtf it even is. It's just beautiful, knowing all of the evidence they already have against him. I've watched a lot of police interrogations, and I always laugh when I see this pop up, she is a savage, and damn good at her job.
When I was 16 and 17 there was a cop in my town that used to try to meet up with me and some of my friends like all the time. I was extremely naïve and thought he was good looking so it took me years to realize he was a creep.

As someone that truly does walk into 90% of the conversations knowing the answer. Or will near guarantee research the topic thouroughly before you notice too long of a delay in responses. @@micah.1009 no, they don't. Imagine working in a factory and because of one colleague that's a thief, everyone else is called a thief. It's frustrating and you probably wouldn't want to be labeled a criminal when you're not.
They are, in court, the police officers job is to enforce the law and get the offender infront of the court, it is the courts job to give punishments, it isnt up to police to be nice or not, everyone should be treated fairly, and with respect the court should then bring down the biggest hammer they have

What the full video of Jaylen Fleer. That detective did a wonderful job. She's a pro at fishing for information, building a rapport, and reeling them in.

It is insane that officer Fleer was allowed to walk into an interrogation/interview room with his duty weapon on his hip. The negligence of his superiors is unimaginable.

Officers are typically civil during arrests. If people are being tackled, thrown around, dragged, etc. It's because something has gone seriously wrong. Absolutely correct. They look after their own. Talk about arse kissing.
The lady interrogater did an expert job of establishing that his accounts were his and locking him in before she even hinted that they knew anything. With his job this kind of interview wouldnt even be all that out of place for an innocent cop if they were wrongfully accused of something or there were forensics complications with a scene they were on. It had to be on his mind that they knew at that point but he didnt have a story ready for someone else being on his profiles. Great job.

This is how most arrests go. The ones that freak out are actually pretty rare compared to the ones that cooperate. The ones that cooperate just aren’t entertaining, so they’re not blasted on UA-cam like the others.
Officers are typically civil during arrests. If people are being tackled, thrown around, dragged, etc. It's because something has gone seriously wrong.
