I think they've always said one row/column and one section, so I can see how it throws him off.

Well they're checking if they're in range. I'm not entirely sure if Mark's team was doing the same.
If we could get views of both team maps, it would be easier to follow. I don't know what the hell is going on! But it's enjoyable none the less.
They're hardly playing by the rules so that's not making it any easier to keep track of what's going on.
This would actually be kinda hilarious to watch if both groups were in different rooms and only the Radio Operators could hear what the other teams are saying via headphones. A total shitshow, but still hilarious.

It’s too bad people are disliking these videos because I absolutely love them and clearly there’s a lot of work being put in to edit them into a very enjoyable and watchable format. It would be so easy to make a bad video out of an IRL game like this. Hopefully we’ll get to see more games like this in the future and there will be a more open mindset towards it.
I personally like them but if you don't follow along with what they were doing it's a complete mess with very little opportunities for jokes

Love the gameplay from this! Also, how does Craig go from "I have no idea where they are" to locking on almost perfectly. While Trott consciously sabotages his own team.

MrZombdude it's a chaotic and loud game. It's easy to mess up like that. But when you get a good idea where they are from the use of sonar and drone, you can kill them with 2 direct hits
ooh, that one was tense, haha, so good! Poor Craig was having a tough time, haha, but he managed to keep up with the Hat Lads really well considering how many times they went silent, I'm impressed!

Followed Hat Films for quite a few years now. Not gonna lie, though... pretty much only watching this for Cregglecop.
Can I ask what the only printed text is in this game? (Like what do you actually have to read to play?) The only one I can buy nearby is supposedly not an English edition, so I want to know if the language is a big deal or not.

Read Red Storm Rising if you want to hear about realistic modern submarine combat, the game Cold Waters is pretty good for it too

Why aren't the team on the right not trying to damage their enemy?.....all they do is moving around all day same as the last video by the time they did hit they're almost dead.
I played that game in school with my teacher and classmates during the activity in my High School.

It's weird how Mark goes for mine every time. It never manages to hit, it's a waste of time... It's all about the torpedoes, the sonar, the silent running, and drone.
The corner of the room perfectly aligns with the game board in the opening shot, which is further continued by it's shadow, and I always think the opening shot is two cameras but its not and it freaks me out

The spines of the books matched up with the sword matched up with the corner of the room. It took me a few moments to realize the screen wasn't just split.
