I am so proud of the way your boys have lovingly stepped up to care for the baby. The love in their eyes while holding her warms my heart so much. You have a blessed family!
Your boys have grown up so much. I know you have said they don't like being on camera so much but it warms my heart to see what fine young men they are becoming. It was nice to see Lilly content and smiling. She is so cute. It did make me laugh though to see you all barefoot inside and in shorts and t shirts outside with your boots on, when all of America in hunkered down wearing layers upon layers of clothes INSIDE the house. You not only built a house and did animals last year but you grew your family too! It will be fun to see how much everything changes this year.
I think you guys are as close to attaining the American dream as can be. You've got land, rebuilt a home, grow food, maintain livestock, and have a great family. The little one is sure growing fast, must be the excellent homemade food!
A camera must feel like another sibling to a baby when it is being held in one arm and the camera in another arm from the day she's born! And the parent is talking to each of you!😊 The poached eggs on toast looks sooo amazing! How comforting to know that you can feed your family from your own land!
Back at the start this Vlog was like all Meg and Ben seemed like he was thinking crazy wife filming again. Now Ben has come to be our friend as well. Kinda cool evolution as Ben has gotten comfortable talking to us. I miss how artistic Meg can be with the edits and B-roll but, understandable considering the baby and everything, that she has just a bit less time atm. LoL Thanks for bringing us along as always.
I can hear those boys telling their future wives how good their momma's cooking was. Mom is going to be a hard act to follow on the kitchen. peace and love, y'all ♡
That little girl is getting to be a real child! LOL Note to boys: Do NOT protect her from everything. You guys rock. The Hollars always eat well. I have tried but just cannot make my eggs come out right. Fun project. I am looking forward to this season with The Hollar Homestead!
It's Saturday evening. I've got my glass of wine and watching the Hollars..... and damn near spit my wine out when Ben said the Feeder Pigs will go to Freezer Camp lol!!!! Thanks, Ben for the serious laugh!!
That baby girl looks just like her daddy. I noticed different times that she is staring straight into the camera. I think she see's a baby in there, lol. So precious.
I hope you take the time to tell them young men how they are doing so well with work on the homestead it is good to be recognized for hard work. I see it I recognize it fine young men working hard for their family thats their future for now till they decide other wise.
I love how you are teaching your sons how to work, and how things work! They will grow to be fine men, they are already fine young men from what we see! Keep up the great parenting!

You could poach the eggs in the broth, save washing another dish. 🙂
Lillyanna will be to you what Wilder is to Art and Bri with the camera. She'll be surrounded with great brothers. Love your kitchen and cooking Meg, and Ben the homestead is coming along great. Can't believe what you guys have accomplished in such a short time. Blessings to you all.
You all are my favorite u tube family. Miss not seeing you more but with baby girl so adorable I wouldn't mind spending time with her. Love and kisses for you all.
Love seeing the family Farm life. Meg, sweet Mama, is just so great at making bread, creating wonderful meals and just a wonderful supportive wife. Little girl and those boys are growing right along ❤ Thank you for sharing ❤🙏
Hey Ben, glad to see your channel is doing great man, it seems like it was just yesterday when you were telling me about your plan of selling everything traveling USA and setting up a homestead somewhere... I see alot of comments mentioning how moms cooking is great Well I can vouch for that you're wife can cook a great meal. One of few things I miss about night shift at bmc lol P.S sell me a file knife
That baby is so sweet. I have to remind myself that Rome wasn't built in a day all the time. Today I cleared out the watercourse. It was a good day. I haven't stopped the trespassers yet but that day is coming too, because I say so.
I think the hardest part about homesteading for us is wanting to do too much!! I'm waiting on Spring like 🤩🤩🤩 the babe is getting so big I want to smoosh her cheeks
From the view at the end, you can really see the terracing along that ridge that Troy and family from Red Tool House, helped ya'll clear off and it looks really good. Bug sure has grown, that baby giggle is so sweet. Yep, your kitchen your way to cook, like behinds, everybody has an opinion! Love and hugs!
Thanks for letting us know who has the best supply of cattle panels. I love that Tractor Supply. Your little Angel just keeps getting cuter and cuter! She has the sweetest little smile! Stay warm. Spring is just around the corner! The Best Is Yet To Come, Neighbor! God Bless!
Each video is so watchable and interesting ,such a variety of topics and great achievements in the Holler Homestead.Thank you for the opportunity to have a window on your world.
I love all the from-scratch cooking you lovely folks are doing. I am off right now taking care of children/homeschooling and we have been cooking everything from scratch and it’s been wonderful. I love getting ideas for food from others that value good home-grown home cooked meals. 💕
It's crazy here in north Texas. Winter storm, temps in the single digits. My brother was talking to a truck driver involved in the hundred car pileup on I-35 ln Fort Worth. They stole my propane tank. They me their empty. That was coldest night in over a hundred years. Still waiting for the well to thaw. Amazing how we take running water for granted. You have accomplished a lot and you're living the dream. God really does bless the sweat of the brow. Thanks for sharing.
Your boys are such great young men. Must have something to do with good parenting, good work ethics and respect and a lot of love. Lillyanna is so cute. Her favorite toy reminds me of when my granddaughter would visit and i made her her own favorite kitchen drawer with a few plastic containers. Needless to say she remembered the drawer every time they came over and containers ended up all over the floor but she had as much fun playing with them as we did watching her
So glad to see you guys again! Wow, she's getting big already! She couldn't take her eyes off the camera. So cute! I love our pig panel pens. We did posts and then staples. We dug 34" down to get to the frost line to help them not get heaved up. They are 32' x 48' pens so 2 panel by 3 panel and the pigs get moved to the second pen to finish them so they have greens in each pen. We put a sprayer hose off one of the posts to have a place they can cool off under and make a wallow for the really hot days. They have a shelter too. We raise just 2 pigs at a time. It is nice to have the panels too because you can get over them to move stuff around pretty easy because they are short. We don't worry about them being attacked or getting out! Meg, the food looks amazing! IBC browsers to the rescue for the brokers! I think your browsers are really nice. Great idea to use those. Those cross fences look great. Thanks for a great Vlog!
"Good morning beautiful people". Love it. It is morning here in Australia as I am watching. After nearly 2 weeks rain the sun come out a bit. Yippie. So where am I or our weather sincronised? 😉😄🙂 Love the fence. Those piggies will be comfy. Lily is so very cute. Fantastic moments you all your kids so nice. Big hugs to you all from Down Under. 🐨🐨🐨🐨
I can't believe how much Lillianna has grown. Her smile is just beautiful. She sure went after that strainer, just perfect for teething. According to the people that were doing the pork butchering class that Bri & Art took, those fuzzy pigs you have are the top of the line tasting pork, just as Kobe beef is to beef. It will be interesting to see if y'all agree with that statement. Stay warm and have a Blessed day.
Seeing you use the the post driver brings back memories of ice fishing with my grandfather. We used a ice chipper he made using a wide chisel welded to a pipe. When you're chopping thru ice 2 feet thick and better,it gives you a real work out.
Progress is progress! Props to Meg for utilizing what you have & creatively making meals. I enjoy poached eggs on toast. The cheese spread looks delicious!
Any time you get mostly grunts and nods from a table full of guys you need to cook that again.
Funny, true, but funny!
@@teresaroman3348 The grunts and nods were all that was needed to be said about how GREAT the meal was!
Having a bad time in my life right now (old & sick) - watching your family makes me feel good. All you do and have (kids) are wonderful.
🦋🙏❤️
Praying for your health, that you feel better quite soon!
🙏
I hope things have improved for you.

Ahhh...no withdrawal...The Hollar's blessed me again. Yay!!! I love watching how God blesses each. Baby girl is precious.
Always a joy to see the smiling baby, she is already looking direct at the camera. So glad to see the family doing well.
Lillyanna is growing so fast! What a lovely smile she has!
Thank you I was wondering what they named her what a Beautiful name.
@@marthareedy Her nick name is Buggie, though I am not sure how they spell it.
What a Beautiful baby. She smiles with her eyes😍. That's a happy baby!

She is a doll!! What a blessing our children are from the Lord above.
Praise God for all children

Spoiling them for all other women!
The boys may end up with husbands. Or they may not marry at all.
@@jimmyjohnstone5878 or they could end up with a love of cooking themselves!
@@cheriekreusel9453 yes.
Time for Meg to start writing her cookbook, a copy of which should be given to each when they leave home.
What a cutie and that smile is such a delight with those sky blue eyes. Loved the sweet response of her brother as well. Best to the entire family! 🤗
Dont forget the garden im excited. Time for onions potatoes and cabbage broccoli greens all the good stuff...

One CUTIE little girl --- I wish I was 40 years younger so I could start everything for a second time
She sure is aware of herself in that camera, I see a future UA-camr. 💕
SHE'S SO CUTE. Also, I'm excited to see the projects kick off for the new year. C:
Lil Bug is so responsive to the camera!.....she is a well loved 🥰 baby!....God bless y’all abundantly and stay safe and healthy!

Always great to see your boys helping you out... they learn so much that way and the bonding time with Dad is priceless❤
Bit of a tradition in the UK with any meal that has a sauce/gravy - use bread to soak up the left over juices 😍
Little "Bug" is absolutely adorable!
You guys are slamming it. Can't wait to see what spring brings!!🙏

I was thinking that same thing. And go straight from the cooking pot to the serving bowls.
Awe she is so Adorable Ben and Meg! she sure loves her daddy, look at her smiling at her daddy. What a pretty little lady!
She’s way too cute and cuddly 🥺😍
I like it when people make homemade bread. For some reason it makes me feel good inside. 🤔
Thanks, Hollars. what an inspiration!!!! a simple, homestead life is full of beauty!

The boys - "can't talk: eating!"
Thanks for this video. I love watching Meg cook and seeing the whole family enjoy her meals. 🥰
Tractor supplies looks like an amazing place, shame we dont have them in the UK. Enjoyed the update
I stapled some 2x4s to the bottom of my cattle panels to keep the pigs from getting their snouts under them and bending the crap out of them.
Them boys are getting big. Eating more I suspect, so have to grow even more this season..
That girl is so sweet! Ben, another couple years and those boys will be working right beside you!
Such a cute baby girl you have, love watching the boys help there dad so much.
