"The guy who makes things happen..." Aw, such a nice compliment for such a hard-working guy.
I am so sorry you had to go through all those extremely hard, difficult times and that there's some health challenges that continue even to this day...but I really am grateful that the road eventually led to UA-cam because I find it to be incredibly fascinating to watch the story of your lives unfold. Thanks for doing this series on your backgrounds/ how you started out. How you got here from there. It's been so interesting! And thanks for sharing your ongoing story, your lives, so freely with us viewers. Much appreciated. Hope you're having a wonderful time together on your vacation.

Why is it that it takes us getting so sick that we finally wake up and realize what we are doing to ourselves? I know that with the disability that I have there is no cure, no surgery to fix this. HOWEVER in the last 6 years I starting ready labels and eliminating foods from the grocery store. Growing what I can in flower pots till I can get some land for chickens, ducks, pigs. I can not say Thank You enough for letting me join and helping me out this last year. I can truly say that I can now stand for 30 minutes instead of 5. Walk more than 20 feet without being in so much pain all because I changed my outlook on life and started doing something about it. Thank you for showing a different way for believing we can all do this. As you say Justin Pigs for everyone. Thank you!

I recently found this company called Microbe Formulas started by Dr. Jay Davidson and Dr. Todd Watts. Dr. Todd healed himself from chronic Lyme and Dr. Jay healed his wife who almost died twice from chronic Lyme. My husband and I have chronic health issues. Our chronic health issues have continued to improve over the past 4 months that we have been on the Microbe Formulas- Detox Starter Protocol. We have tried many different doctors and protocols before this with some success. The products and protocol from Microbe Formulas are really working for us with visible results! The protocols that work for chronic Lyme work for other chronic health conditions as well. Check them out if you are willing.

Justin and Becky, my nephew got Lyme's and overcame it, becoming a lawyer. In my last semester at University, I was bit by a mosquito in Fishkill, NY, and got Post Encephalitis Syndrome. Slowly improved over the years, but have multiple disabilities and chronic fatigue. Volunteer within the limits of my disability as I am not employable. Thank you for sharing your lives with us.

Oh my! I'm at a loss for words. I will not go into my details, however thank you for sharing all of this! You will never know how much I can relate to all this that your sharing. But hearing you both tell this story puts everything into perspective. Now things make sense and I'm hearing myself say, Oh, that's why, and oh I didn't know that. Now all the puzzle pieces are fitting into your story. You all have been such a Godsend in my life. Thank you for all the hope and help that you give me! Bless You! You two have no clue how you are changing our lives and how the whole world will be a much better place because of you!!! But because of all you've done, just wait and see how this plays out for you. Things are on the near horizon that you've had a great influence on. I can't wait till it all fits together! God Is Sending Great Things Because Of You Two!😊❤🙏

It's good to hear that your treatments seem to be working for you all regarding Lyme Disease. I've read some of the books on Lyme disease cures/treatments, Plum Island and Lab 257 after I discovered a tick bite in 2006. I also experienced brain fog, unexplained tingling in my feet and fatigue. I never had a lyme disease diagnosis and thankfully, after a couple of years of symptoms, things seemed to have cleared up. At first, I was always waiting for the next strike to hit, but now I just claim healing and pray that that's the case. Sending prayers for both of you for continued health.

Not to be contrary, but if you removed the words “super” and “journey” from the homesteaders’ vocabularies, none of them would be able to complete a sentence. I LOVE all of the “homesteaders, ,I just get, so tired of,” super good, super funny, super amazing , super useful, super helpful, super stinky ( goat bucks), super exciting, “
I won’t even get into “our jouney.”..ok venting is over.

Hopefully someone that needs a glimmer of hope will see this and be encouraged by your perseverance in not just one of you healing but both of you. You have inspired so many already. I'm so happy you are resting and relaxing on your vacation. You both work so hard to provide this way of life for your family and then also to take us on the journey with you and even meeting us in person. I am totally enjoying your sharing of how you came to be where you are now. Life is a journey that start a new every 24 hours. We never know where the day or time takes us. It's always darkest before the dawn and that has been true so many times in life. Your's seems to have come right before and during your Lyme's disease. I am sorry anyone has to experience things as such but we all have something to rise above it seems and perhaps it is Gods way of showing us what are capabilities are and to rise above it with His help~
I can only imagine the struggle, we've also had some in 53 years of marriage but there isn't enough space to share it all. Suffice it to say, it made you see what the power of determination can do and love of God and faith and darling little gifts of babies come along to inspire us! Thank you for sharing your story, it is wonderful what the two of you have done together. You are literally amazing, blessed and continue to receive blessings through your goodness to all of us in life of sharing and helping us with all this knowledge. You are both so generous and giving of yourselves and have a true gift of teaching even if that wasn't your original intention. LOL But, now you have soooooooooo many of us becoming students and understanding the ways and purposes for it all. I grew up in the midwest in a large town but small compared to anything ppl know of today it seems........we knew nothing about farming but we did have a garden. I guess 1 out of 2 isn't too bad. LOL We did get to visit the farm of friends in the summer all 7 of we children and we loved it.......I am sure I would have loved that life as at nine years old I loved it and was facinated by it all.....it was Magic to us! I am still learning as I watch all of your videos. You have an amazing following and I am sure we have all learned something and come away each day with a bit more of knowledge. Thank you both for that! You are a blessing to us!
I love how respectful and good you were to "Boots"...........an amazing father and son who show the spirit of a good upbringing of work and goodness!
Blessings and Merry Christmas to you both and the children.......they are priceless!

Very interesting story. I've met many people over the course of my career with lime disease. You're right it's very different for every body... I'm an Iridologist and herbalist. I began my career in 1983 in Iridology and herbal medicine after becoming certified the first time with Dr Bernard Jensen, DC. I established my company in 1996. I've had 7 health food stores/bulk herb shops. I currently house 450 bulk herbs in my tiny herb shop here on my farm in East TX. I'm very interested in hearing the rest of your story... Thank God you've changed your diets and have used herbal alternatives as well.

It is a "light " issue. I have chronic lyme , have been living in an artificially lit world surrounded by non native EMF for most of my life. I worked indoors for years in recording studios with so many screens, no sunlight. I bought a farm last year and work outside, get into cold water twice a day and make sure to see the sunrise (or clouds) every morning, never wear sunglasses, go bare foot when safe, eat mostly meat and avoid artificial light at night on the eye or skin. Check into the work of Dr. Jack Kruse. and Dr Leland Stillman has a channel here on YT. Good to see you got the blue blockers !

However moving forward 18 months later she became tired, brain fog, muscle aches and pain took months of Medical testing and trail and errors and 10's of thousands of dollars out of pocket no insurance etc... finally a dx of lymes dx she undergoes tx 2 x month of IV therapies seems better but relapse at times Please Please Justin share this with the community as much as you can because there are Dr's that dont know little to nothing about symptoms how to tx. etc. I am a Retired RN and if it wasn't for my daughter 40

Oh my gosh Justin I was just listening to your story and it made me cry. Not for what you were saying so much as the road I traveled very similar to that not too long ago and almost died. It took my doctor's a little over four years before they finally found out what was wrong but by that time my muscles had seized up I could hardly breathe I can hardly walk and I can only be awake for 2 hours a day because I was so exhausted that was the best I could muster. I was scared I even prayed that God would just stop this hurt and just take me it was that bad. In hearing you with your story reminded me so much of that and everything it took. What finally broke it was the fact that I had cancer doctor and we were sitting there talking and we had run out of ideas as to what was going on and he said he wanted me to write down all the places that I had lived in my life because I was a military brat and then I married military. Military get sent everywhere. So I sit down and I wrote my list and one of the places that I lived was Connecticut and that fascinated him because that's right down the road from where I lived is where Lyme disease was first diagnosed and where it got its name from Lyme Connecticut. I lived there for five years so they immediately do the lime test which came back positive. Then they sent me to the Infectious Disease Doctor Who ran 15 more tests on me and divided it out that I had Rocky Mountain spotted fever I had another disease I can't remember the name of it that you get from eating undercooked pork and did I had to do a disease called brucellosis. I got the brucellosis from non-pasteurized milk that came from an infected cow. But that's a whole nother story I just wanted to share with you that I understand that Journey. And it's very scary and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. God bless you and keep you and please keep doing what you're doing because you are an inspiration to many of us out here. And by the way I'm on the east coast of North Carolina by Atlantic Beach.

Oh wow. I had Lyme disease when I was in my 50's. It settled in my right hip. My hip would go in and out of the socket because it was so soft. The Doc told me since I had rheumatic fever when I was a child, it got me where I was weakest. My legs. So I was working as a caretaker for people who were immobile and sick. I took an antibiotic for 18 months. I finally started feeling better around that 18 month. The Doc took me off of the antibiotics then. I still have trouble with my hip feeling like it is going out and then if I baby my hip for a couple of days, it gets better. But I knew mine was Lyme Disease from day one. I got bit at a friends house and it made the bulls eye target on my arm around the bite. I went to the doctor the next morning. So I guess treating mine from day one has helped me. Since I am 64 now, I go every six months to have my meds (blood pressure and cholesterol and two stomach pills for acid reflux) refilled. He checks my levels then. It has taken me a while to rebound from it.

You may want to try homemade kefir for that reflux. It got my son off the medications completely. It is very easy to make.

You two crack me up. You’re telling us how it was too much or too hard when you first started off with chickens and the milk cow. But now you tell us how easy it is to do. So. Which is it? I’m sure after doing it for so long , it is easy. So, thanks for helping all of us out

I think it was harder for them back then, because they didn't have a lot of people to ask questions, or resources/guides like he's provided for us.

You should go on more Vogue vacations. 😃
I am very interested to hear your story. I wish that in the future you would talk about more important elements of your way of life, such as faith, parenting and child education, who were your first agricultural teachers.
I see in this video that something inside you has healed, something is different than it used to be. In the video a long time ago you told about Jasten's disease, and you really broke down there, Today you are stronger.

I'm loving these part videos about you and your family. How did you come about living where you are right now? The house and land. I think I've heard you, Justin, say this was your family's land but not sure. If so... how did you come about being able to live on it. What about your siblings and them not having it? Did your dad build the house? The house across the street, where you put the cows sometimes, is that also yours? Just curious!

Interesting. I have 8 autoimmune issues, including Lyme and Hashi's. I have tried so many things and have landed on Carnivore. Just like Justin, I crave meat and fat. We get beef quarters every year in MT. Grass fed, grass finished. Four of us have chronic Lyme. I am steadily losing the last 40 pounds (from 250, goal is 130.) and I am pain free energy is great and I am SLEEPING!!!!!!!!!!!feel Might be an option for Justin. I do love veggies and I miss them - we have a big garden every summer. But I am not craving them or anything else. I will be reintroducing foods one at a time in the future - don't know when. I am 57 and I better now than I did at 30. God bless.

Rebecca, I have a issue with my immune system as well but it's because I've been on a cocktail of meds since I was 10 years old because I started having seizures and my mom has done everything possible to help me stay as healthy as possible for 15 years while I was with her and she has still helped me in the last 15 years to what I can with the little money we get

Wow. I can relate somewhat. I've not had lime disease, but the fatigue, chronic pain, sciatica, neuropathy, mrsa, Ecoli. That's a small list from a much bigger one. Only difference, I got hit with gall stones at age 24 and the problems have been on going since then. I'm 63 and I feel like I can leave this planet some time soon.

They said I had chronic lyme disease. After dealing with pain, brain fog, non diabetic neuropathy, and other pains for years. Doctor took a blood test and called me with results. Said she had never seen anyone with levels that high. I did antibiotics for 2 months and when i went back he was going to write me another prescription for me. I asked if it was really going to help and he said no. If they would of caught it in 48 hours then yes. I asked him why he wanted me to take more antibiotics and he said most people want them. I left without them. I get blood work now every 6 months and the doctor said I no longer have lyme disease. I know I have the symptoms but there is nothing they can do. I gave my health issues to God to heal. We don't eat processed food or GMO non organic foods. I am doing what I can to heal myself with God's help.I want to be able to get land and move out of this city I live in. Praying it is God's plan for me. God's blessing to you and yours

Limes disease is a disease to live with. I was bit by a tick that arrived it some 40 years ago. Not most doctors in California said that it couldn’t be because it is not a disease that is west of the Rocky Mountains. So I didn’t get much help. But now they know that it does happen west of the Rockies.
