    You've just given me another gift idea, thank you! What are the dimensions, wood type and finish?

      Thank you Stuart, its walnut, this type of walnut is very common in europe but its slithy different they maybe in America .... Dimensions of finish piece is diameter around 40mm and 55-60mm long.... You can use any food safe finish,on these I use linseed oil and wax melted..... Wish you luck and thanks for watching 😀

    Came from Mike Holton's vid of his version of these cups.
    Nice clean design. Seems also like a good design and project for (food safe wood) scraps.

    Good work! I can imagine, though, that you were very glad when the last one was finished. It must have become boring later on. What did you use for "water-proofing?" Kind regards.

      Thank you 🤗 initialiy there was idea for 300 of these but for first batch it was desided for 100pieces.... I dont like sealing wood in any shape or form,this is linseed oil and wax melted together, its very easy to maintein by customers.....

    Thank you Tomislav. These will be perfect shot glasses for my Anejo Patron Tequila. Ummm so good. My cups didn't come out exactly like these, I'm just a rookie. According to Tomislav Ms. Ema Gerovac designed these wonderful cups.

      They are great, just add Ema Gerovac to your description of the project if you're going to make the same ones, its her design and I believe it has copyright..... Thank you for watching 🤗

      My intent is just to learn how to become a better wood turner, I would never take credit or copy someone's design intentionally. I'm just trying to improve on my wood turning. Thanks,

    Nice work! I'm sure I'd get a nasty catch if I tried to hollow with a bowl gouge like that. I'd also like to know what finish you used.

    • @tomislavtomasicwoodturning
      @tomislavtomasicwoodturning  Рік тому +2

      Thank you sir🤗 its 12mm or half inch spindle gouge that I use for hollowing, my mentor, Richard Raffan has a video on this method..... Finish is linseed oil with beeswax melted together.....its light finish that is easy to maintein by customers although I dont sell these, I just make them for designer........thank you very much for watching 😀

    Haha, what a great little glass. So you have to drink it at once, so you dont spill it. Can I steal the idea? So over the border in Slovenia we can also drink out of these :)

      Nazdravlje 🤗🤗 that is right, drink it on one go.....🤗 For the idea you should ask the designer beacuse she had a patten I think so its better to ask..... But I guess something similar could be done.....
