We cannot participate in UN peace missions because since we lost the civil war and resigned from P5 as China(which was replaced by PRC), we have never been in UN anymore. Today, the people of Taiwan has almost lost faith in the Nationalist Republic(ROC), and wants to establish a Taiwanese Republic but PRC won't let us by threatening us. Therefore we cannot join any international peace keeping. Foreigners, support our independence, or, if possible, help us take down the Communist Party and restore ROC, so that the Chinese National Force and Republic of China which represents liberty and peace can stand alongside the West and prosper together.

With no opportunity to participate in UN peacekeeping missions, the closest thing they can get to combat experience is knowledge sharing from hired consultants and contractors. While Taiwan's special forces may cross-train with the Americans, there are few countries out there who are willing to assist Taiwan in a military capacity.
H reyes i was in south korean marine corp that sounds about right. We do the same things and american recon also did some of those things with us. Marine recon always expected 10km fast infiltration march within 60mikes no matter terrain with full pack. We also ate all three meals with the dinghies on our heads during selection. And the paddling and ibs training was not fun lol. Anyhow respect to these guys and all marines. Honestly thought i was fit until i was in recon. Everyone can legit run multiple consecutive sub5min miles, swim for hours and still hit the target at 400m relatively consistently. Civilians watch too many movies and think all this is really easy.. its not
But we would fight for land until the end without any hesitation ,then we will let the enimy who invade us pay for this,they might invede , but they would pay a lot .Then that's enough From a TW guy
These guys are special forces, not Taiwan's main army. If the Chinese invaded, they would mostly be going up against the Tawanese main army. These guys would do things like sabotage missions and small scale operations like that.
