Hello!
Voilà un cover d'Even Flow, de Pearl Jam.
J'ai utilisé ici ma nouvelle basse, la Fender Precision signature Mark Hoppus (Blink-182, +44) que j'ai un peu modifiée (Ajout d'un potard, changement de micro) !
Y'a quelques petites fautes, mais j'espère que ça va vous plaire quand même ! =)

Hey! This is a bass cover of Even Flow, by Pearl Jam.
I used my new bass, it's a Fender Precision bass signature Mark Hoppus (Blink-182, +44). I changed some stuff on it (I added a knob and changed the pickup).
I did some mistakes but I hope you'll like it anyway =)

I love the way when you put the slap on the chorus riff is AWESOME

Good! he's not the bassist for pearl jam. I like what he played better then the recording.
+5stringgod I prefer when people put their own stamps on covers. I was in a Metallica tribute band and I never played the songs like the recordings.
+Ianthebassist so it was not a tribute... it's easy to put what YOU know in everything... but try to approach the 100% of another player's style is difficult... I understand :-)
This kid is great! Love how he jams to music that came out when i was 19-22 yrs old...makes me feel old, but love how he jams to it...
Still the best bass cover for this song out there. I keep coming back to this video every now and again. Since 2009 or so.
i think bass is the best sounding stringed instrument especially when played like this. I love the bass in this song it sounds insane.

+Glenn Allen the harmonics on "even flow" track are actually produced on the 5th fret on the D and A string and after you produce the sound you gently do a regular slide moving downwards... but you need a fretless bass

+Glenn Allen be careful... what you hear is the album bass because if you could hear this without the backing track it will be very poor and in a low volume level... watch it carefully you'll notice that the harmonics continue sounding after David change his left hand position... so what you hear it's the original bassline

ive been thinking about picking up a bass. and i play guitar.. (for about a year) but bass could be what i need in order to stay in rhythem with songs. im trying to learn on my own. without pro help. youve inspired me with this vid to start looking for basses in my price range.

I used a Squier Jazz bass that served me well. I used the Modified Jazz Bass rehash of their 1970's stuff. Bought for 350, held its value when I traded up too, sold for 300 after about a year and half.
