There's several good bbq joint here in Atlanta. Since you like Texas style bbq,(me to) you'll love Atlanta "fox brother bbq". The owners are From Texas and so is the taste.
@@HoundHogsOutdoors from North GA here, have found i kept moving myself further and further away from the city over the years lol. should check out Praise the Lard BBQ, its not in the city but up north past Suwanee
The one thing I wanted to do last year when we went to Texas was try the BBQ, but we just didn’t have time. Next year, I’m not missing out this time. I’ll definitely put this place on the list!
I went to goldies a couple weeks ago, I was disappointed in the Brisket. I think I got a reject. It was the point, and it was dry as could be. The sausage, and pork Ribs were on point, though not really my go to. I can't say I would wait in that line again for that brisket when I can go to Hutchins in Frisco where they nail it everytime.

I'm from Georgia and been smoking brisket for 25 years. I have waited in line and eaten at Goldies and Franklins and they were good yes but not worth the wait or price in my opinion. I would much rather smoke my own brisket.
I can understand that . Everyone has a different taste. I'm more disappointed than not when I eat out. I like my own cooking more often than others . That is how I judge an eating establishment. It has to to be better than my cooking to give it a thumbs up. Sometimes I just don't have time to cook and eat at a restaurant because of that.
lol its not much longer before brisket is $20 for a half pound. i saw a video about goldees from maybe 2019 or so, the brisket was 13 a half pound now its 16 lol
@@marcelo1458 i know exactly how it works smart ass, my point being my income hasn't increased 20 percent, as has their prices. you cant be that naive to think that inflation is the sole reason for the price increase, lets be real here. it has to do with their placement on the top bbq spots in texas. which is extremely bias by the way
Even this Georgia boy knows to stay away from the sauce. Thumbs up!
Thanks bro! If it’s good, it’s good on its own!
Goldee's BBQ is on my list to try! I heard you got to get there early now! These guys are so Awesome and have an Awesome Story!
It was good stuff! Would definitely go again.
The name Goldees was inspired by a Gold colored Ford f250 they pulled a smoke trailer with to start from year's ago
Very cool
It was Dylan Taylor's gold F150.

It’s worth it and so close to Worlds!
Wow, you got there at 10:15am and you were able to get a Beef Rib? There is hope then 'cause I plan on being there at 9am in a couple of weeks! 😄👍
Last I heard they might have quit doing beef ribs for now and are doing pork belly. Idk for sure though.
@@HoundHogsOutdoors No! Say it ain't so! If they aren't serving beef ribs, I may just forget Goldees and go to Terry Black's. 😬
@@juncho1977 I saw someone the other day complaining about not having the beef ribs. Don’t know how long it is for.

hard to find brisket lol that's where Myron Mixon is from isn't it?
Yeah but he doesn’t have anywhere you can buy it around here.
Myron Mixon is a joke.
How much was this platter?
About $100. I also got a shirt and I think the total was around $130
How was that $50 beef rib? WASTE OF MONEY?
