I just seen it today, with the Polynesian feel of the movie, I knew it had to have been Cliff playing the chief, I wouldn't be surprise if he's playing a south American chief on the next one 🤣

I dought that one would see Cliff ever take on the role of playing a leadership figure from another indigious nation as that would likey be seen as act of cultural appropriation you would have to cast a person with ancestry from that nations linnage .. its a very sensitive issue that only the indigious commuity itself can reflect upon.

this is very useful -- I thought both these Avatar films very powerfully moved me to think about what the European expansion, First Nation encounter and industrial exploitation of the natural world -- all rushed through in only 250 years -- what damage has been done -- how evil the result is turning out to be for. our planet -- I would ask First Nations to shout out Go Green! & be at the leadership of a Worldwide Green Movement! We need this consciousness in Africa, Asia & S America

Shouldn't be allowed to do blue face.

Same could be said about grey face to those who portray gray aliens, or any color someone might paint themselves to look like an alien. Blue, green, pink, etc. I think as long as there isn't an intention of mocking a culture for their skin or inherent features, then its totally fine
