I would not have guessed this tree was an ivy if I had not seen the leaves. Chunky trunk already developing. Really like the gnarled effect. Should age beautifully!
Wow really nice Ivy! I have some smaller ones so this gives me more hope. One of mine also turned a purple red and even the new growth is that color. I think its already an impressive specimen
Cheers. The video would be this - follow the packet for how much fertiliser to put in the water. And then do that once a month during the growing season. There is really not a lot to it
I'm no fan of ivy as it is the scourge of many gardens and wrecked more than one of my fences when neighbors insist on planting it. Yet I've given you a like as this is nice work.
Yeah any one who wants to plant it in the ground is insane. I got this one from a section that had fully invaded a garden. It truly is an enemy at times.
@@BackGardenBonsai The Japanese seem to like it as a bonsai species but I just can't do it. Your truck is looking very knarly so when defoliated I might be okay with it.

May I ask you a video on how you fertilize your plants?

ah ok thanks @@BackGardenBonsai . Do you use a balanced fertilizer or a specific one for bonsai?
