- Between and on the hills of Tuscany, the brand new Trailmax Raid, Dunlop's first performance tire for 50 percent off-road and 50 percent on-road use, has to show what rubber it is made of. It has to cope with gravel, forest paths, loose rocks and sloping tracks as well as on the road in consistently dust-dry terrain.

I’ve only tested mine on a four day off road weekend and was very impressed by both off road (sand, rocks, steep climbs) and curvy canyon roads. Mileage reports sound good at between 4-5 k miles.
I know riders who get up to 20,000 kms, 16,000 miles on a set of Trailmax Missions and who love them.
The Missions are not great for deeper mud and deeper sand.
This of course depends on the type of throttle used and the weight of the bike.
Really excellent review and analysis. Great bike, too bad I got a 1000sx before I heard about these bikes!
4k km of life sounds pretty bad, i think thats only for rear, front should last at least double that
How suitable are the tyres for 2 up riding with luggage??
Don’t look like you’re getting a reply? I’ve watched 3 or 4 reviews on these tyres they sound rather soft for 2up with luggage? Some people say they’re rather noisy while others say they’re quiet but this is the 2nd video I’ve seen where they couldn’t find any mud so I guess they don’t do well in mud? Personally I think this is more of an advert than a review

I had them my back tire blew up from a k-5 splitter eduction in the tire itself. What a horrible ordeal

The tread depth looks shallow compared to many competitors appearing to probably lack in off road traction and over all wear.
