This tire set up is what I always run... I don't think they can be beat... Super tough... Quiet and great on the road. Off road goes without sayin. Best of all is value for money
Good to hear from you sir, I believe you are correct. The Mission tires are pretty awesome tires for sure and last forever... thanks for watching and keep safe out there... :)
Brett my man. Great to listen to your clear and honest thoughts Second Super ten for me and over 100k. These tyres after 2000klm are the best all rounder I have had. Thanks for your help with that decision. Aussie down under.
Thanks for great vid Ozark men.I've got the pirelli scorp.str's on but am considering next tyres as Dunlop traolmax missions.Looking at those tread patterns I would have thought the missions would be more road biased than the str's.
Man, I'm impressed with the miles you got on those takeoffs. I know they are more expensive than most, but when you average in the mileage, you can't miss.
Good to hear from you sir, yes those Mission tires last forever and still are quite good in the wet as well... I don't know how they pulled that one off... thanks for watching and keep safe out there... :)
Well my friend you have a new subscriber!! Love the scenery and the review on those Dunlop tires. I am in Southern Az and it’s kind trying to warm up out here😀 even though at this moment @8 am it’s only a balming 48 degrees!! Great video altogether!! Ride safe ride far
Thank you for the review. I just put these on my 390 Adventure, replacing the Mitas E-07, due to some planned longer road trips this spring. Unfortunately, from your review I will pulling them off at less than half life due to a planned off road trip in July. - Frank
Hello John....nice to see you back out on the Tiger in the wilderness. We share the same feelings re the Mission tires. They last forever(around 10,000 miles on mine), they're great on normal gravel roads, and struggle in deep gravel and sand. I can handle the back sliding out, but the front washing out is scary. I just got back from Big Bend. Before I went, I switched the Tiger out to some 804/805's. While they're a huge improvement over the Missions, I still tended to get some spin on the rear. The front never washed out once. If they had just a little deeper block, they'd be much better. They're kinda soft, so just one trip, and you'll see the wear! How are you mapping your rides in Big Bend? Google? I discovered some real good rides, outside of the national park, just north of the town of Terlingua. Take a ride up Blue mtn road. Been meaning to thank you for your recommendation of the Jasper area in the Ozarks. Went there last fall, had a blast. I stayed in the Erbie campground(you just can't beat free). Great road riding, and fun dirt backroads. I'm sure I'll be going back sometime!
Hello there again sir... sounds like we are leading parallel lives. I will check out Blue Mtn. Road.. thanks... I use Google maps and a GPS map app call GPS Waypoint Navigator when I am traveling. Thanks for watching... hope to see you out there soon... :)
Hello there sir, good to hear from you... These tires are not good in mud even aired down... the groves fill up almost instantly and stay full... thanks for watching... :)
Hello there sir, good to hear from you. That ride was in North Central Douglas County MO. Between hwy 76 and 14 just west of Hwy 95. Hope to see you out there soon... thanks for watching... keep safe out there... :)
Thanks or sharing John and good to see you back out exploring. I'd love to get 9000 miles out of a tyre, my best is 8000 kilometres and they're worn out. do you still have your FJR? I'd love to see a road trip on that if you do. Keep up the good work mate. Cheers Jim
Good to hear from you sir, The Mission tires do seem to last a very long time. I sold my FJR last year but am hoping to pick up another one this year so we will see how that goes... thanks for watching and keep safe out there... :)
I have more than 8000 miles on my Dunlops and they are still good. Where exactly are you heading for out west. I have to wonder what sort of roads you are planning on riding that the Dunlops wouldn't do the job.
Hello there sir, good to hear from you... I will be spending a week riding around the Big Bend area of SW Texas on the Rio Grande and then another week out in the Chiricahua Mountains of Arizona around Tombstone. lots of sand and gravel washes out that way. The Shinko's should be a better match for that kind of terrane. I rode the Mission tires out there a few years back and they left some to be desired in the deep stuff... Thanks for watching and keep safe out there... :)
Good to hear from you sir, I rode out from south central Missouri... the trip was 4600 miles... I got 5000 out of the rear... the front has 7500 miles on it now and looks like it should go another 2500 to 3000. I am on my second rear now... thanks for watching... :)
Hello there sir, good to hear from you. I am in south central Missouri. Southern Wright County. I do get over your way on occasion... thanks for watching.. hope to see you our there soon... :)
@@ozarksbackroads5484 Thanks Sir, try to watch all your videos, learn allot. You should have a huge like count..people don't know good stuff I guess.. Your going to need to jump a couple cars on the tiger to get the likes up.. 😆
Best intro when you come off and look back and your Buddy synchronised his/her fall to make you feel better. Seriously one in a million shot that is.
Good to hear from you sir, glad you liked.... thanks for watching... keep safe out there... :)
Fantastic video !!! I'm from Ontario Canada and only wish we had places like this to explore... maybe someday I can get down that way !

I know they are more expensive than most, but when you average in the mileage, you can't miss.
Also, I have a Tiger that I run a pretty aggressive tire. Tigers don't like mud no matter what tire you run.

Good to hear... thanks for watching sir... :)
I just spooned a set onto my 2023 KLR650. Hopefully I can get 5 or so years out of them.

Curious, when you ran mud (In the northeast here it's inevitable) did you air down? Ty

What area were you exploring? It's beautiful. My son and I may like to go camp in that area. We on the eastern edge of southern MO.

@@ozarksbackroads5484 You won't be very far from me if you will be riding near Tombstone.
I hope you trailered your bike out to the Southwest to ride it, cause those 50/50 tires are going to be done in 4 to 5000 miles on pavement.

How much does the bike weigh that you put them on
Good to hear from you sir, I believe the Tiger weighs in at around 470 pounds or 213 KG... thanks for watching... :)
Put those old tires alongside your pooch...I'll be by to get them...
I have quite a few nice sets of pull offs you are welcomed to... :)
I know a river bottom where we could really test the new tires! 😜
That ain't gonna happen... I wouldn't cross that on a track hoe... :)

Barry county, we ride a lot in Ark.
I'm just north of you in Laclede County.
I have the shinko 705 great on road shit in the mud
What tire pressures are you running on them tires?
The trail max pressures?

Put those on a bike with 160hp
keep the music out !
No offense but I had to give your comment a "thumbs down" because I kinda like the music.
