Thermal expansion starts at the spark from the spark plug and progresses to push the piston down. It does not strike de piston like a hammer, it rather pushes the piston quickly, but uniformly. Knocking the piston with a metallic object produces high impact on a small surface and most probably destroys the surface locally.
@@mathieugilbert1149 Diesel fuel self ignites but dies not knock the piston like a hammer, with a high impact force over a small surface, it pushes it rather uniformly on the whole surface. In fact that’s why diesel engines use the self ignition of diesel fuel: it’s not brutal. Gasoline engines do not use the self ignition of gasoline because it’s a brutal explosion that can break the pistons. That’s why lean mixture is a problem for gasoline engines in certain loads and engine speeds. Lean mixture is quite close to self ignition .
PMSL, we rebuild engines in almost surgical conditions, torque everything dead on. Put on Dyno blows up. They build the engine outside, torque until it squeaks, then give it another 90 degrees. Slap it in a truck and it does a million miles. Go figure who REALLY knows what they are doing.
it really isn't that way.. usually stuff blows up when you're pushing the materials to their limits, which definitely doesn't happen in truck diesel engines. i bet the engine in this video will be rebuilt again in about 200000km if not less but that's okay because labour is stupid cheap.

ur right kabayan...thats improper assymbling...wer defferent among thim..cus were a pilipino michanic..
Spot on with torque wrench and working off the ground. When your in an actual repair facility it should be fairly sterile and not allow for contaminants to ingress to the motor project, third world or not.
Great teamwork. Great job 👌👍👌👌
But for $300 for a total teardown and rebuild, can you complain?
These guys are badasses!! They make it happen no matter the circumstances
Lindo trabalho desta equipe !!!! Parabéns à todos!!!
These guys are hard workers but I've never seen anyone build a miter without a torque wrench
Hell look at the comments, this is the bestest way to do it
Another amazing rebuild job.
''Did you torque the rod caps Azizz?''....yes! ''How many pound feet?''...Yes!
Amazing work good job guys hello from Mexico 👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
ese man es el mecanico mas limpio que he visto....
good job
You guys are sure a well oil team. insync team of professionals.
Muito bom estes profissionais 👏👏👏
Nice and clean, like in a real workshop.
He just goes "click" out loud when he's doing the main cap bolts.
lmfao
🤣
Tight enough is good enough...
He's been watching Rainman Rays Repairs.
He has a torque metre fitted inside his elbow
Amazing work im amaze of there torque wrench
These dudes are extremely resourceful No Torque wrenches 🔧 No Air impacts. You can tell this ain’t their 1st Rodeo lol 😆.

I love the torque: a little bit before breaking.
I love all these pakistani craftmans video.. while others do same thing with expernsive tools and goods they make the same happen with nothing but just pure skills aquired frm years of experience.. love from india..
Amazing! True Mechanics (and teamwork without having to go on a weekend retreat to be told by a 21yo MBA how to do it)
That guy with MBA knows the littlest details…

"What is the torque on these main journal bolts?"
"Let me check the manual... ah yes, 3 grunts"
I enjoy watching them work on the engines.... It "is an enriching open-air educational school, we learn faster with them than with us....
Master mechanics in action !These mechanics should work in large companies in Europe, their talent and professionalism are far superior.Subscribed
As seen on tv "The Paki Torqueomatic Extension bar" Yes you to can now accurately strip any bold with super calibrated Torqueomatic extension bar, no need for fancy internals, when you just swap out the operator you can add or subtract the required torque setting...
*NONE of 'The Beatles' ever had any training and never learned to read or write music and rarely ever 'practiced' with any instrument*

He has probably rebuilt more engines than you have had hot dinners. You get a feel for it with enough experience.
Think about it. If F1 would make a rule that every team have to repair their engines in every race. Well i would be that theese guys would be very competent :) Just give em a chanse and i hope the f1 would take this as a mandatory practice :)
thought about it….wtf
The 'final-torque guy', who's been on a steady diet of beans, cheese and goat milk, is called upon for his crucial services. While everyone backs a few feet away, a rather prolonged and thunderous 'click' can be heard when the correct torque setting is achieved.
At least 4 ughs of torque

@19:33 - forcing the piston inside by knocking it with a metallic object? Smooth...
Knocking? Looks like more of a tap to me. And those pistons slid in beautifully.
Can you visualise the power stroke by the fuel explosion ?
@@raufjaleel8317 Thermal expansion, not explosion. "Explosion" produces engine knock (post-combustion knock) and it can crack the piston. Thermal expansion starts at the spark from the spark plug and progresses to push the piston down. It does not strike de piston like a hammer, it rather pushes the piston quickly, but uniformly. Knocking the piston with a metallic object produces high impact on a small surface and most probably destroys the surface locally.
@@csterea But there is no spark plug. This is a diesel engine. It's quite obvious..
@5:33 tomi will goes from other way in stud removal wheel
PMSL, we rebuild engines in almost surgical conditions, torque everything dead on. Put on Dyno blows up. They build the engine outside, torque until it squeaks, then give it another 90 degrees. Slap it in a truck and it does a million miles. Go figure who REALLY knows what they are doing.
Makes you wonder if we are the idiots.🤣
it really isn't that way.. usually stuff blows up when you're pushing the materials to their limits, which definitely doesn't happen in truck diesel engines. i bet the engine in this video will be rebuilt again in about 200000km if not less but that's okay because labour is stupid cheap.
@@christianregitz5791 quanto eles cobram de mão de obra pra um serviço como esse ? 🤔
@@christianregitz5791 Their shoes give +50% to mastery. So, we are far from them..
No they are not wizards There's just too many of them. No it doesn't last milon miles. It's just so cheap that you can do that twice a year
Great team work, keep it up men's

Absolutely crazy !!!
Strong tools !
This is how it was made in a lot of car shops in Europe back in the 70s/80s.
No special torque tools needed 😅
That's why they didn't last 300000 miles
@@richards6856 sure, they would rebuild again and again 🤷🏻♂️ what was the problem about that ??
A torque wrench is not a special tool.
Amazing friend👍👍👍💪💪😊🙏
Is amazing what this guys can do in thier pj's

Amazing teamWork Unbelievable.Well done Guys 👍💕💕
I knew an old guy i go to his shop.he would build an engine same way wouldnt use torque wrench but he done it for years never seem him have an issue with anything. So i dont think its compleatley nessarry to torque bolts just good and tight will suffice.
TEAMWORK, IMPRESSIVE.
Three things surprised me: the slippers, the ten toes they all still contained, and the guy in blue keeping his shirtails spotless.
You think the guy in blue wore a dress shirt for the photo opportunity?
