Hello, viewers! Thank you for your patience. This is Part One of the story of the Seven Stans, the ULTIMATE saga of Eurasia. In this new series, we will uncover the mysteries of the stan countries and seek answers to some of the most important questions regarding human civilization. I must admit that despite my efforts to make Part One engaging, it might be the driest episode in the series. There aren't many surviving historical sites for me to film, which has led me to rely on old films and maps to tell the stories. However, accurately interpreting these historical maps was quite challenging. I did my best to compare and research them, even drawing them manually. Unfortunately, there is no way to perfectly map any premodern empires. So, if you notice discrepancies between the maps and your knowledge, I kindly ask for your understanding. By the way, I have recently monetized this channel. If you'd like to support my work financially, you can do so by clicking the "Thanks" button. However, any form of support is truly appreciated. Wishing you a wonderful weekend, and I look forward to seeing you in Part Two. Best regards, Jingwu
Why is there a hole in Kazakhstan's map? The land belongs to Kazakhstan and the cosmodrome is being leased till 2050. You should've taken the official map of the Republic of Kazakhstan available on the internet instead of misleading your viewers about the Russian land in Kazakhstan.
Kindly show the correct map of the Republic of India 🇮🇳 I am reiterating that The Aksai Chin, the Gilgit Baltistan - PoK are one and integral part of India. I am reporting this video to UA-cam. Next time use the correct map of the Republic of India 🇮🇳

非常好! I love your documentaries Jingwu, as a Buddhist myself I have always been fascinated with Central Asia’s Buddhist history. Can’t wait for Part 2 of this series
Welcome back. Another very interesting documentary and very well narrated. Your channel is extremely underated and hope you do well. Also, dont take too long for part 2.
Very well done as usual. However, as an Iranian, I would like to mention that Iran has always been called as such by the Iranians like Egypt, which is always called “ Mesr” by the Egyptians and other nations in the Middle East. It’s just that back in the 1930s, the Iranian government of back then requested other countries, especially the Western world to refer to Iran with its original name. And not all ethnic Iranians are Persian. Kurds, Baluch, Pashtuns, Ossetians and Sogdians are all ethnic Iranian people. However, in Iran, Persians are the majority and therefore dominant ethnic group just like the Hun people in China. Furthermore, the White European-like people in the Central Asia, particularly Tajikistan are not necessarily the descendants of the ancient Greeks. Many of them are Sogdians whom are another Iranian ethnic.
central asian warlords would create every dynasty in persia and indus valley until the modernity... they are very interconnected - you could say they are the same civilization and region.

I am a firm believer that the first humans came out of Eurasia instead of Africa, Central Asia is the real cradle of civilization and this video is super underrated.
The seven STAN countries as the name suggests are the sphere of influence of Persia from ancient times. STAN is a Persian suffix means “the land of”. Some states were closer to Iran such as Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, some less such as Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Pakistan has been similarly influenced By Persia and India. You may even claim it’s Persian India. And on the contrary to what many believe, Russia and China have historically a minimal influence on the region, except during Soviet time.
Tang Taizong was only half Han Chinese. His mother was Xianbei Turk, no? It was because of the Battle of Talas in 751 CE, the knowledge of paper making was transmitted to the West. First the Arabs, then later to Europe.
The Yuezhu who formed the Kushans were an Indo-European speaking people, possibly Tocharian. I'm not sure if they were asiatic/chinese people. They spoke an Iranic language later.
Ye,I was also very confused about their East Asian looking depiction, since they're generally considered to be of Indo-European (Iranian nomad) origin, much like Sakas and Scythians.
