Cool set up: I know the newer batterys don,t work that good in cold temps. But what you can do is (if you up grade batterys) install a insulated battery box in a tree (over the flood line), with a older christmas tree light bulb inside, to heat the box up and batterys. Also get a $25.00 dollar motorcycle alarm to keep an eye on your investments. Just some thoughts !
The voltage must be higher then the stand by voltage of the battery or no current (amps) will flow to the battery. Current always flows to the least amount of resistance. Ex a 12.4v battery needs 12.5v minimum to move even 10w at 12.5v (100 mah)
My solar panel that is hooked up to this puts out 22-24v. That won't over load it. You need to see how many watts you have to see if it will overload it.
Turn the music off. There’s no point and is distracting, especially with running water in the back ground.

12 volts is almost never 12 volts
You need to check the amps from your turbines cuz volts isn't amps amps is what does the actual charging
