I understand how sensitive you are to the nasty comments however the purpose of you channel is to share your love for handbags. Think about it like this. Misery loves company and you’re not miserable. Don’t waste time trying to reason or keep company with the miserable because it is a complete waste of time and energy. Protect your energy and remind yourself that they are miserable . Enjoy this life.
A person who is truly happy/ content will never say anything to intentionally hurt another person.
This is how the internet is. Just block them and move on. Everyone gets nasty comments. Live ya life.

It’s true, they say 100 ppl can say nice things to you but you’ll never forget that 1 person that said something mean. I am a sensitive person at heart so I know how you feel. Sadly some ppl feel more elevated when they knock someone else down. I dare some of these types of ppl to start their own channels with their faces on it. They’ll quickly realize how much guts it takes to put themselves out there and how vulnerable it can be. In the meantime, you have community support here!❤

Firstly I am so sorry to hear that you got some negative comments - and you do not deserve that at all! Second, I heard this and it’s always stuck with me - “people project how they feel about themselves onto others” and that makes a lot of sense. It has nothing to do with you and everything to do with how they feel about them. Every time I get a mean comment, I genuinely feel sorry for that person. I’m constantly amazed how people feel free to make hateful comments to content creators who put such effort into presentations. With so many channels to choose from, they should just watch those that make them happy. But that may be the problem: NOTHING pleases them! Negative comments don’t just affect you, they affect us too. I come here to show support and share ideas with others in the community…I’m not here to see dumb negative and unhelpful comments. When I see that negativity it upsets me. I never understood that. Honestly as a victim of bullying and other abuses, it’s one reason why I could never put myself out there. But honestly creators like you and others in our healthy happy space encourage me to think positively 💗

Words DO hurt, you are absolutely right. We teach our kids to be kind and respectful and to not be bullies. But then adults say nasty and mean things to UA-camrs which is bullying! I wish UA-cam would regulate negative comments somehow. I was thinking about starting my own UA-cam channel many times (I also love handbags and have a nice collection), but negative comments from the trolls stop me.

If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Why would you watch a video that you think is “stupid “ or don’t agree with the persons lifestyle?!?! They should find better things to do, seriously!
You wouldn't believe the hate comments that some of my friends have gotten… They make me want to cry and they're not even directed at me! Not all of the examples I listed were things that people had said to me, although I've experienced a fair amount of negativity lately from a small handful of people. Overall, the positivity that my channel generates is amazing and I appreciate all of you so so much.

My cousin who has a popular travel video would have one of his followers delete nasty comments during his live videos. She told me some comments were very nasty and would just delete as they came up so I guess my cousin wouldn't have to look at nonsense. She was a fan who became a great friend. A very lovely person.

This was heartbreaking to watch. It's a shame that content creators have to deal with vicious and toxic people. It's what keeps others (such as myself) from even attempting to post videos, because the negativity feels inevitable. I am so sorry that someone made you so upset! It broke my heart to see you get upset. You are such a wonderful and sweet person and you do not deserve to have people be mean to you. I know it’s easier said than done but I would not let them get to you because they are just miserable in their own lives and just have to bring other people down. I started my own channel a few months ago and I remember my first mean comment and how much it affected me to the point where I did not want to continue making videos over one nasty comment. I had to just remove it because it was just giving me so much anxiety at how nasty and relentless some people can be! I’m so sorry you go through these types of nonsense . People are just mean sometimes and just want to lash out on others because they are unhappy with their own life.
Just recently on Saturday, I was at the gas station minding my own business. I went to the lane where they can do the gas for you. The attendant asked me how much and I said can you please fill it up. Next thing I know this random guy on the other side started verbally assaulting me. Screaming in this economy how can I afford to fill up. Do I think I’m rich. I’m wasting money just sitting in my car letting others do my gas. At this point I just rolled up my window and pray my silence would shut him up.
There are so many unhappy people in the world who take pleasure in hurting people because they are hurting. We just have to keep going and ignore the negative noise.

Oh my. I love handbag videos, but this was great, too. My channel is mostly weight loss, and I currently have most things unlisted because of the mean comments. I was inspired by someone I met in my UA-cam weight loss community (it exists!) and by this video to get back on the horse. As crazy as it sounds, this is making me want to put myself back out there so thank you.

I’m so sorry those meanies made you cry! I know it’s hard but try to ignore them, you nailed it by saying it’s their problems that make them the way they are. The negativity and insults say more about the person saying them than about you. You are strong and you are a good person, remember that and don’t let unkind words affect your worth. You helped me get through the pandemic with your uplifting videos, not only about the handbags that make me so happy but also I loved the recent family vacation video to New Orleans full of great tips and ideas! Take some time to take care of yourself, surround yourself with people who uplift you, and always remember your value and your strength.

It is always people who don't know what they are talking about. I always refute with evidence, but get some bullshit comment because they don't know anything. I always think they are very small people with very small lives and making nasty comments makes them feel big. I block all the time. Your videos give so much value, and I appreciate it so much. I just stumbled across you this morning so this is my very first vlog as a new subscriber. I feel I need to weigh in on this as well. I work for Crime Victim Services in Canada so I have some experience with this kind of thing. When people make hateful comments, it is often rooted in their own feelings of inadequacy so they try to assert dominance from behind a computer screen. These people are often seeking to compensate for their own personal shortcomings. They do this by denigrating others in an attempt to hold on to their belief that by tearing you down, it will elevate their self-esteem. This is a “them” problem, not a “you” problem. Try to shake it off and reflect on what I’ve said. The best advice I can give is BLOCK BLOCK BLOCK. I’m so glad I am now a part of your community! ♥️

What I love about your channel is that you are a stay- at-home mom like me and you are making me feel a little braver about finally owning and deserving a luxury handbag. So sorry for you guys to have to deal with this. No one should have to put up with such rude negativity from anyone no matter what they are talking about. As you said if we don’t like the content for the day no one is forcing us to watch. You and other’s really help people like me who cannot go to these stores and see these bags in person decide whether or not they are worth purchasing. It certainly saves me from having to return so many items as I can see if it fits my phone, if it’s heavy etc…. I think anytime you put yourself out there you risk a little bit of yourself… But you can also gain so much! Look at the overwhelming support that I have received today… I can hardly keep up :-).

I’ve wondered lately quite a lot if people stopped being taught if you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything. While I get people have their own opinions and they have every right to those opinions, in situations on social media and UA-cam I just think being kind is such a better choice in todays world. There’s always a way to say things . The goal is not to agree on everything but to be able to express ourselves without being nasty. Personally I judge these people very hardly, they are the type that are probably not well loved because of their own behaviors. At the end of the day, they are hurting themselves and they choose misery. That being said, I’m very sorry it happened to you. You don’t deserve it at all.

I'm so sorry this is happening to you. I want you to know that many of us who follow you actually care about you. We love to hear from you and appreciate your hard work to produce content we can engage with. I've noticed with the onset of the inflationary period, people even in real life seem more attuned to what people have and make comparisons to themselves often in negative ways. It's no excuse to be rude or mean and I've had to also personally put up a sort of barrier to revealing details to avoid intrusive questions from people one hardly knows. That is the one thing about social media that is so hard...the haters/trolls. I'm so sorry that you get these comments. I love handbags a ton and I love watching your videos. Your videos have helped me decide if I want to purchas or not purchase a bag. I've played w the idea of starting a chanel too, but I can't handle the mean comments...it would sit w me for a long time. So, I totally empathize with you and, to echo some of the comments below, it takes courage to put yourself out there. Even though we know that the people who put out these nasty comments, are themselves damaged/insecure/jealous, it doesn't give them the right to project that onto you or other people. Despite these few people, I hope you know that there is a larger community that supports you!

I too agree that the voting buttons are there for just that. I have heard UA-camrs mention they block people. Some have commenting guidelines for the same reason as comments can definitely make or break someone’s day. 😞

I honestly think people on social media are either jealous or bored. But I get some at times and to protect my peace I report them. Which removes the comment for both you and your viewers, and hopefully it is investigated since it’s being reported. I do the same thing for scam comments. Hopefully that helps, but I agree there is so much content on UA-cam. If handbags are not your vibe go and watch something else. It will get better.

Oh Aaryn, I’m so sorry you have to deal with this but it really seems to be the norm anymore. I see it on all platforms. Some of it I do believe is just “bots” but some are just miserable keyboard commandos. I have only been following you for a few months and I rarely comment as I usually listen to may favorite UA-cam Channels while I log in to work at an ungodly hour of the morning but I was able to watch this after work. I enjoy your reviews whether it’s something I’m interested in purchasing or not-sometimes just seeing a review of a bag style or how it “fits” makes a huge difference. And you are the most giving person as I found out yesterday ❤ I have found new brands and bags from watching your channel. The negativity is everywhere anymore-I’m trying to just “be the better person” but it isn’t easy. My late mom used to say every single day “be kind.” It resonates with me every time someone is just downright rude or comes at me. It’s them, not me. You are not the problem-keep doing what you do.

Hell yeah! I think it’s incredible you holding people accountable by being open and vulnerable with how those hateful things impact you! People on the receiving end of those hateful words are people with feelings and it’s so unnecessary to spread hate. No one deserves hate no matter the topic. I think people can respectfully disagree or just not watch if it bothers them so much. You are willing to try and have a conversation and when there is just hate and judgement in return it’s fair to just block or remove that negativity when you can.
