I had an old mailbox and put a flower arrangement in it and it wasnt long before a momma bird had 6 babies in her prebuilt home. They were so sweet then they learned to fly away. I miss the little guys but it was nice watching momma take care of them.
I use an old mailbox in my shade garden to hold some hand tools and a small plastic container with a lid holds my gloves (don’t want spiders in my gloves!!)
I appreciate you so much. I am on disability; so every penny counts. I’m at home and desperately want everything to be nice. I really think you have a gift from God.
Oh my Sherry you have the most creative mind of any crafter I watch on UA-cam! Thank you so much for sharing your ideas with all of us and the great instruction so we can recreate the projects! ALL OF THEM ARE MY FAVORITE!!
Sherry, I loved this video! I realize it was longer than your usual ones but I was so interested in each project that it was over before I knew it! You have such innovative ideas - I took notes on several. It’s so hard to pick a favorite. I’m hoping to try the teapot sewing kit, globe light cover on candle stand to use like a cloche, scale out of alarm clock and stove burner cover to name just a few! I really feel like I can do it! May God bless you with good health and uncountable ideas to teach us for home decor! Take good care.
At least she reuses and recycles things, which is why I love her channel. Things can be done in a budget or inexpensive and cheap. May not be someone else's budget, but the whole concept is to get ideas that we can use of our own projects or recreate for our own taste. Ones who use crickets are expensive and even though I don't own one I still watch the videos for ideas for home projects.
Mondays can be a stressful start to a long week, but know i can reward myself with a visit from Sherry that evening! I honestly remind myself several times throughout the day. I not only love the projects, but I think Sherry is a wonderful, talented woman. And the longer the video, the better!
Sherry, I love all of your videos but this one was, by far, my favorite! Please do more like this! My favorite was the Christmas scene inside the mailbox! Love and Blessings❣️
Sherry, so sorry about the storm hit you took after that beautiful patio garden makeover. AND, you still managed to put out a 50-minute Monday video. You go, girl!
WOW! I'm in awe of your creativity Sherry! I will never look at a can of Goof Off the same again! I never would have thought of most of these 50 ideas but I am saving this video to review for each time I'm thinking of donating or throwing something out. My mind is blown.
I sat down to watch your weekly video. I realized this video had fifty projects. I hit pause, got a cup of coffee and settled in.😂 I could watch you for hours. I literally did after your first video came on my UA-cam. I have said it before and I will say it again, " You never disappoint and I can't pick a favorite. " lol
You, my dear friend, are an absolute genius! And a blessing to all of us truly frugal thrifters. I must say, though, sweet Sherry, you make me very nervous around power tools!❤😅❤
I loved all of your creations in this video. You are a woman after my own heart. My grown kids sometimes call me a borderline hoarder. I often find things I have no idea what I will do with. My idea is they will eventually let me know what they want to become. Love reused things. Thanks for giving some of your ideas.
I could not pick a favorite. Lived them all. I usually don't watch any video over 25 or so minutes, but always, always watch yours, no matter the subject. Your ability to see beauty in junk is inspiring. Thank you.
Sherrie I am surprise you have any more room in your house to display any more of your DIY's. You still are the best repurposer on UA-cam. Cheers to you.🎉
Yours are the only videos I watch from start to finish. I tend to creep forward with my finger because I get impatient. I loved all your creative projects and as I have stated before I can't wait for Mondays to see what you have come up with. I also appreciate the amount of time it takes each week for you to create your videos. You are so very much appreciated Sherry. I think you are in your element. ❤❤😊😊
I really enjoyed this longer video as a refreshing change. My favorite projects were the magazine/cutting board holder and the bird bath from the round serving tray. 💝
So many pieces inspired me! Thank you so much for sharing all this with us. Apart from the actual makeovers the editing must have take so much of your time and energy. Thank you, Sherry!
Tick...tick...BOOM!! Out of the ballpark!! Genius ideas!! I love watching your videos. You're awesome!! My favorite was the magazine rack makeovers. ❤❤
My favorite is the terrarium towards the end. You see those old jewelry boxes often in the thrift stores, and they are perfect to make into your terrarium.
Hello Sherry!!! LOVE the longer videos. I'm unable to pick a fave since they're all beautiful. I've seen these projects before but you have so many great ones it's nice to have a reminder. Thanks for sharing your creativity and inspiration. Give Edgar a hug for me. Would like to see him more often, I'm a big animal lover😊 Take care and, as always, I'm already looking forward to your next video.
Usually when a video talks about upcycling, they just show you one idea, that they slightly vary from each craft, it's just the same item but different color or material, but they title the video "25 new ideas for upcycling" But, what you have done, is give actual, useful, clever, fun, and usable ideas! So refreshing, so excited to be a new subscriber, I look forward to all your videos. Thanks and have a fantastic day!
I loved every project and am in awe of your imagination. when you start a project, I pause the video and think of what I would do with the items that you are working with then I watch you transform them into objects of desire that are amazing. The Lord richly blessed you with a mind full of treasures. Thank you for sharing them with us.
@@CanterburyCottage Oh my goodness, your imagination is way out of my league and I am honored that you thought you and I might have the same idea of giving an old item a new purpose. NOPE, I never get it right and am so delighted to see all the steps that you so generously share to create objects of interest. Today I went to the Salvation Army and saw so many things that you would immediately see possibilities for. Sadly, I stood, stared and tried to remember some of your projects. So I am home doing my homework by watching your videos again. Oh the possibilities are endless.
As usual, Sherry, everything you make is very clever and unique. I love the radiator cover, and the Bundt pan clock…and everything else! It’s so cool that you repurpose all your thrifted goodies!
YOU HAVE A NEW FAN! I absolutely love your channel! I just found it and now I’m binge watching. Your up cycles and your decorating ideas are thinking outside the box.😍
Love the longer video! Must have been a labor of love for you. My favorite was the teapot sewing kit. My grandmother was a seamstress and I am currently reading The Seamstress of Sardinia. A mother's day gift to myself was 5 bags of books from the library booksale! 😊 I enjoy all the book themed projects. I also enjoy tin/metal ones. I watch the other crafters who use more plastic, but prefer natural materialls. TFS. I hope everyone is enjoying their spring! 82 degrees yesterday, 54 today 😂
You are phenomenal. I don’t think I’ve ever watched such a variation of recycling items. There are too many I like to mention any particular one. Extraordinary! Thank you so much for sharing your talent.
I loved this longer video, Sherry! You are so amazing and have SO many good, creative ideas for repurposing things into wonderful decorative and/or useful items for the home. I can't really pick a favorite, every one was so unique and fun! 💖💖💖💖💖
You have THE BEST ideas for repurposing crafts❣️❣️❣️ I’m definitely saving this video because I am determined to try some of your ideas. Thank you sooo much for sharing these❣️❤️❤️❤️
This was a fun video to watch. My previous church replaced the old glass chandelier lights when we updated sanctuary pieces. Two of those old chandelier lights are now terrariums inside the front doors. I recognized that project as soon as you began. One of the things I want to update at my home is a new mailbox because my existing mailbox doesn't close tight. When I saw you remake a couple of old mailboxes, I remembered that I'd seen an old mailbox in the garden for small garden tools. Of course, I will want to cutesy it up a la Sherry. I'm also thinking an old mailbox might be the perfect container mounted outdoors near my grill to store grill utensils and gloves.
Oh, Linda, thanks for sharing those ideas! Love them! I don’t have any extra mailboxes right now, but as soon as I spot one at the thrift store, I’m going to use your idea!!!
Good morning, Sherry. I loved this - 50 stunning projects. Pick one favorite? Surely, you jest. Here are my 6 favorites (I managed to whittle it down to 6): decoupaged tins, lampshade plant holder, gift tissue box, teapot sewing kit, mailbox and bird bath. You are incredible!
Sherry, I so look forward to your videos every Tuesday morning. I can hardly wait to see what you come up with next and then see if I have any similar items laying around that can be used to duplicate some of your projects. I am constantly amazed at your creativity and ability to take a piece of something and turn it into a beautiful work of decorative art. There are times that I will sit and watch two or three of your videos in a row even if I've seen them before, so the longer the video, the better in my opinion. Thank you so much for giving us such wonderful inspiration and easy to understand instructions on how to repurpose the ordinary into the extraordinary.
Great projects as always! Loved the transforming of the Christmas tins. Have lots of them. Like the cigar box shelf too. Got great ideas using things I already have here at home. Great job!
@Canterbury Cottage. Sherry! I’m so glad I stayed until the very end. That book stand gave me the very thing I needed to make the Bible display stand for my 148 year old Rev, John Brown Bible from an ancestor in England. I had no idea how I was going to display it until today. I’m so thankful for all your wonderful ideas!
Love the bathroom jars, the green tins, the matches, you could use a vintage broche on that pin cushion. I LOVE the bread pan planter❣The bunny mailbox is adorable. The wooden vegetable bin is to cute.
Awesome, stunning, beautiful, charming... what else could I say? True vintage for free. You are creative in right way 🙂👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Me and my old stuff thank you so much for your great and lovely ideas 😃😃😃
Tins both the green and the blue and white were amazing, Bundt pan clock was super neat, the Canterbury Tales box for remotes was so incredible . I loved so many of these projects. Honestly it took me three watches to finish it but i loved that because i got more Sherry. I watched some at 4 Monday ,then after dinner Monday ,then after coffee on Tuesday morning.
Oh Sherry! Thank you so much. I was needing a large tray with taller legs than a wooden bead and smaller in diameter than the large beads. I have the tray but not with legs. I never thought of using a lamp harp for feet. You are amazing.
Shari, I think this video was perfect in duration. I get antsy watching 2-3 hour videos. My favorite was the old vent grill in the frame, it they were all lovely!
Sherri, your creativity is just amazing and endless. I loved all of the projects, It is almost impossible to choose just one favorite out of 50! However, I do tend to like the ones made with wood, they are so versatile and never go out of style. Thanks for sharing. Love your personality and great ideas.💕
It is rare that I will watch such a long video, but your ideas are worth the time.
Oh, thank you, Mary! I hope you get some good ideas along the way!

Thank you! 😊 I use that pin cushion in my craft room (and I do leave it sitting out all of the time).
I will refer to this video often for inspiration. You could make a three hour video and I would love it. I look forward to Monday evenings with you.
My favorites were the knife block book stand, and the cutting board wall displays. Great ideas!

THE SEASHELLS.......just gorgeous!!
That pot lid with added handle & made into a clock was really impressive.
The large "art works" from wrapping paper looked elegant.
