Thank you so much! I selected a specific spot on the game where I get around 30fps, and using your recommended settings I could achieve 50-60fps in that spot. Now I play at 50-60 fps minimum and 100-120 fps average. I’m on a ryzen 5600x and an rtx 3070

@@daviddutschke1 the lobby in Hogwarts that is in the door that leads to the field where you find the accio competition and the beast class. That part of the castle is graphic intensive, and it’s, in my case, where I got the lowest fps count.

well ,. I use the laptop for work [not a gaming laptop] but it can play some games. its intel i5 - GTX 1650.
even with low settings - TAA Low 1080p only maxed out at 43 fps. and always stutters with droprate up to 15fps. but works fine with medium/high settings - TAA High with 30fps. medium stable at 29-30 fps,. high 27-30fps. Why?

i agree game is stunning but only and only when you either use dlls with upscaling or the open source amd one with upscaling becaus with the upscaling the blur ingame is so heavy and not sharp att all its anoying and that kinda breaks the game for me

Recommend the Ascendio II.0 Mod on nexus mods to fix some of the stuttering issues.
ive tried everything, running the game on low preset, disabling RTX, used the various "fixes" on youtube, used the ascendio mod. None of them worked, game still stutters like crazy.

@@jhowgx already tried with everything on low, the shader compilation is just terrible in this game, that's what keeps messing up the fps. I couldn't even complete the crosswands duels cause it was so laggy

@JegsTV Has anyone came across the issue of their frame rate getting stuck between 40-50 FPS in Hogwarts Legacy? No matter what settings I choose my frame rate does not change. Native or FSR 2.0, global low or ultra, nothing seems to change it

I can’t understand why I don’t have the Dlss options? I’ve updated and done a clean install of my drivers… Should I be using upscaling if I’m gaming at 1080?

Not every graphic card is supported with DLSS.
Your GPU is most likely not supported.
I think the only GPUs that support DLSS are the RTX series... if you have a GTX for example, you won't have that option...

Anybody knows why this game stuterring and low fps on Nvidia cards? (i have rtx 4090) i have also 32 gb ram memory?
I get 70% gpu usage and stutter because of my cpu cores spiking to 80-90% only happens in hogsmead or some parts of Hogwarts
The game is unplayable to me.. With ryzen 7 5800x + 3070ti 32gb ram.. Continuous stutter and fps drop 😒

What? No. I used a 5600x with 3060 on this test and i can run RT. If you cant run RT with a 4090 somethings definitely wrong with your setup.
