re private seller limits ... these are becoming restrictive and not sure HMRC or ebay are considering the patchwork quilt of modern life relationships. My own choice I know but I have two full households merged, 4 children and at the time of life when close relative elderly are dying plus friends / relatives who see ebay too complicated to sell their own stuff. This means I currently have access to thousands of personal items. Not moaning, it is what it is but I'm sure there are a lot of people in the same or similar position where it is not too difficult to exceed limits
re NI, I believe there are different trade arrangements for NI than rest of UK driven I think by NI protocol. Tons on google if you have spare time to read
