I love the video, only thing to make it more enjoyable is less intense music, if you want music try a lo-fi chill beat 👍

Brown hackle peacock with a red tail might beat them all…

Oh for sure, there’s definitely better flies than the ones I was using. I just thought it would be cool to see if they prefer a certain color better, assuming those results would also be shown if the experiment was repeated using a different fly

Well im not really surprised that pink did well. Little disappointed that orange didnt make it past the first round. I have a ton of flies tied in orange and they smash wild browns repeatedly. But i do believe that pink is just the all around best color for trout. Pink squirmy, pink san juan, pink egg, pink tag, so on so on. But as ive read, and found out personally profile of the fly and natural drift (for euro) mean alot more then color. GL and thank you for the video.

Yeah I’ve noticed pink just outperforms everything by far. 90% of the time that I’m fishing for brookies I’ll use a pink colored fly. Orange and some of the other bright colors have worked for me, but not to the same extent as pink. I’d use colors like black or green before I’d use some of the other bright colors, even though they did bad in the video I’ve had good success with more natural colors. Obviously there were some issues with the video such as certain colors getting unlucky by being used in a below average stretch of creek, or just a lot of missed strikes but overall I think it did accurately represent the colors they bite the most. Glad you enjoyed the video.
