Infinite Warfare is my personal favorite campaign as well. I have never been more immersed and cared more about the characters in a cod campaign than I have with IW. The game as a whole is criminally underrated
@@vadamsvengeance3219 no ghost campaign was very good and it definitely better than vanguard campaign you can hate the multiplayer but the campaign was top 5 for me
@user-w7n I'm glad you enjoyed the campaign but to me personally, it wasn't good. It wasn't terrible but it was bad. The story was a big letdown, the characters were meh
Black Ops 6 has become arguably my favorite campaign with inarguably my favorite mission. The story is pretty weak, but it more than makes up for it with its missions. Every single one is unique and fun. Most CODs have the missions you remember distinctly and want to return to. In BO6, I feel like that is pretty much every mission. The open world with Far Cry like outposts, the fundraiser espionage, the casino heist, the zombie acid trip, the psychological nightmare. Honestly the only mission I was disappointed in was the last one, it felt a little anticlimactic. I thought we would actually get to go to DC to stop the Cradle. But apart from that, every other mission was home run for me
The last mission and along with that the ending are the only reason black ops 6 ranks a little lower for me because you’re right just about every mission is great and honestly it feels like you’re building up to something big and then the last mission and the ending just weren’t that big, I barely consider the ending an actual ending anyways because you can tell they purposely told probably half of the story they had planned in the campaign and the rest of that story will continue in multiplayer
amazing take. it wouldve geniunely been my favorite campaign if it had gone out with a bang. it didnt. but the campaign was still fuckin awesome and its been a while since a cod campaign has made me say that
One thing I recently learned about bo3 that explains why the campaign is the way it is so much is that Jason Blundell was one of the main writers for it. For those who don't know, Blundell was Treyarch's big-name Zombies guy for the longest time, rising to stardom by being the creative behind Mob of the Dead and Origins back in bo2, and then being made basically Zombies' full creative director for all of bo3 and bo4 if I'm not mistaken (if I'm wrong about any of this, please correct me). Learning that, I could finally see why bo3's campaign is so confusing and difficult to understand. Because its written by the guy who writes the Zombies storylines, and therefore uses several of the same storytelling techniques, i.e. lots and lots of hidden clues and subtleties that players have to really dig for and piece together themselves. For instance, there exist lots of vital plot info hidden in the fast-scrolling text that occurs at the beginning of every mission right before the briefing. But of course, nobody can actually read all that in-game, so the only way is to look it up or just spam the screenshot button, and that's assuming that you've learned how important the contents of that text is. All the storytelling in Zombies is built off of its Easter Eggs and hidden audio logs and intel, and from what I can tell, people are perfectly fine with that in Zombies. Casual players don't really play Zombies for the story anyway, so unraveling the story is more of a reward for the easter egg hunters who do want to put in all that effort. But it doesn't translate well at all to a CoD campaign, where the stories are typically more straightforward and easy to understand. No CoD campaign has ever had the mere basics of the storyline's plot points hidden behind subtle details or cryptic puzzles, so having the explanations for a whole storyline hidden like this will cause it to fly right over the heads of the casual players that just want to play through the Missions and watch the cutscenes. Personally, I'd rank bo3 above Vanguard and Ghosts, but that's just me. Its still pretty low for those reasons and many more.
I genuinely haven’t had this much fun with a campaign since mw2019. I spent the entire launch day just slowly going around the Rook and completing the puzzles. It was such a good setting. What was really nice was that it wasn’t a one and done type of thing, as after every mission there would be notes scattered around the rook from your teammates talking about different things, even YOUR character. It gave the safe house a sense of lived-in-ness
My top 3 is Black Ops 1, Modern Warfare 2019 and Infinite Warfare. Black Ops 1 has my favorite characters and just an awesome memento style story about soviet brainwashing experiments during the Cold War and it’s just so sick. I love how revelatory it is when all the pieces fall into place and you finally understand what’s really going on. Great soundtrack, tons of memorable moments and missions. Incendiary Spas 12, the Commando, the brutality and gore, Gary Oldman, Ice Cube, Sam Worthington. Black Ops baby. MW 2019 probably has my favorite selection of missions over all. The Piccadilly attack, the townhouse, the hospital, the embassy, the white phosphorus mission at the very beginning, and a few more are all so awesome and extremely well designed. It feels like each of these missions has been polished and refined many, many times over, and it makes it feel like a very tightly focused, handcrafted experience. The 1-1 scale is incredibly immersive, and all the new animations imbue the action with a scary sense of realism. These are some of my favorite missions ever, and they’re all in the one package. As far as modern military goes, for my money this is as good as it gets. Infinite Warfare tells the most emotionally engaging story to me. I really connected with Nick as a character and I believe he is without question the best protagonist in the franchise. Incredibly likable, and you just feel so sorry for him as the campaign progresses and all the things he and his fleet have to endure. Epic scale action, memorable characters and story moments, and a surprisingly touching ending. The music is dope, the guns and attachments are recognizable futuristic versions of ones we have today, and even things like vehicles, mechs, space ships are all designed in a conservative manner that makes them feel believable. Kotch might be a bit dull as a villain, but the story isn’t about Kotch, it’s very much focused entirely on Nick and his team. That being said Kotch also has the coolest death in the franchise. Infinite Warfare is awesome.
World at War is the most underrated cod of all time. Also, MW 2019 looking back after a few years of new cods was a solid solid call of duty. The multiplayer introduced us into some of the best movement and graphics ever
I'm personally not a fan of that ending. Obviously it's just meant to be a fun little gimmick, but I don't think it works with the overall story too much (well obviously considering it's not canon)
It is underrated in some aspects my only complaints are the story was kind of weak. In my opinion also the characters were cool but there wasn't enough depth to them and roarke was the weakest villain in terms of his character and motivation. But the pros are taking place in post apocalypse was Amazing and soldiers being ghosts and wearing those masks I liked that feature
Agreed. We didn’t get enough time with her to have an emotional connection. She wasn’t bad but I don’t think it was handled the best way possible. Still entertaining nonetheless

I don’t agree it’s number 1 but IW’s campaign is definitely a top 5 campaign for me. It easily has some of the best written characters in the franchise. Story itself is pretty predictable but you care about the characters and believe the relationships they have. Easily the best campaign of the advanced movement era

Black ops 1, 2, WWII, CW, and 6 are my definite top 5. Never really got reeled into any of the Warfare Campaigns than how I did with the Black Ops Campaigns.
Thank you for actually giving infinite warfare the praise it deserves I really hate how it was hated on every party of the game was good the zombies in space land was one of my favourite part of the game and the campaign really made me think about it afterwards with nick raes dying and it was one of the best campaigns I played my list for top 3 is black ops 1-2 are #1 and then #2 is the blacks ops 6 campaign because of how it ties to Cold War and black ops 1-2 then #3 is infinite warfare I didn’t really grow up playing modern warfare campaigns tho so I feel like if I played those I would have a different opinion

Absolutely perfect list, chefs kiss! Only things I'd change is flip 19 and 20, and flip 4 and 5. Maybe flip 13 and 14 too cause personally I preferred Ghosts story over AW
It's not me denying the root of the series, I simply just don't have anything to say about them. I would also rank all of them at the bottom. It being the start of the series doesn't necessarily mean I have to love them or think they are great. Perhaps next year I will include them in the ranking, but I just didn't see the point this time around. Most people don't include them and I'd imagine most haven't even played them.
My top 5 has to be: 1.WAW 2. BO1 3. BO2 4. MW2 (OG) 5. MW3 (OG) Maybe it’s just the nostalgia taking its effect on me lol. World at War was the first COD campaign I played and I absolutely loved the dark campaign that showed the true horror stories from WWII. I like the different situations it threw you in between being the Russians and then being the Americans and showing both sides of the War. The soundtrack was absolutely phenomenal from the dark eerie menu theme to the triumphant score that plays through the campaign when a big event is taking place. World at War will always be the top of my list.
13:14 this makes it a pretty comfy campaign imo. Something that is more laid back Agree on the soundtrack but some tracks are awesome like the main theme Vanguard is the 2nd worst campaign. The only good missions there are the ones that where you play as Lucas as Africa is a really cool setting
I talk about that in the beginning of the video. I don't have much to say about those games and I would rank them all at the bottom anyways. I can't really compare them properly to the other ones, just not the same way. Perhaps I'll include them with next years ranking. Regardless of this, I still titled the video "Every Campaign Ranked" because what else would I title it? Most campaigns ranked? Any other title would sound silly.
@@Xpertfusion cod 2 has a great campaign its my second favorite ww2 campaign behind waw. You should definitely add finest hour and big red one in a ranking list in the future also
my personal opinion is WaW number 1. I loved it that this is the only campaign where you dont have a villain. the main reason I love it is that here they dont make one good the other bad. As you said the russian side was a better story because through the game you see war crimes commited and did let me question if this is justice.
My favorite campaign is definitely WW2 I think it’s the most underrated cod ever and love the characters and I just love the WW2 setting (most people don’t) second would be Black Ops 1 tho
Man I really tried so hard to love the bo6 campaign but I just couldn’t get into it like the others, I heavily disliked the trippy missions because it felt like they were trying too hard to top the bo1 and bocw twists. I also hate how they never really explained what the deal was with case, they really told us nothing and I hate how they barely focused on the gulf war. The stakes felt very small 😕
Respectable Ranking. Your list was pretty similar to mine up until Cold War aha. Some of my thoughts; - Vanguard is too high - The COD4 take I completely agree with - BO6 over Cold War I have to disagree (Cold War is a Top 5 Campaign for Me) - I can’t agree with Jane Harrow being a strong villain. She’s barely in the game before she’s the twist villain. She’s a decent character tho - BO1 at No.5??? Huh?? My No.1 pick aha - IW at No.1 is such a hot take but one I completely respect Love your content btw ❤
I haven't played cold war, vanguard, mw3, and bo6 campaign at all. But this is my personal list 13. Bo3 12. ww2 11. ghosts 10. iw 9. aw 8. waw 7. mw2022 6. cod 4 5. bo2 4. mw3 3. bo1 2. mw2019 1. Mw2
To this day, I still can't choose a number 1 because they flip around constantly. Right now though, I thoroughly enjoy Ghosts. I know it was generic, but the potential there is abundant, especially with the love it's gotten recently. I really want them to connect Ghosts with Black Ops and Modern Warfare, kind of like how Black Ops and the new Modern Warfare were connected with Zhakaev appearing in Cold War. With BO7 rumored to take place in the 2030s and reportedly being a sequel to BO2, the timeline would match up, as well. Makarov goes into hiding after Soap's death for about a decade because MWIII ends in 2021. This also gives us the ability to connect Ghosts because the story of Ghosts takes place in 2027. If this idea could be executed, we could potentially see Harper (assuming they make Farid getting killed by Menendez canon), Section, Ghost, Hesh, Logan, Price, Gaz, Menendez, Makarov, Farah, Alex, Harrow, Case, Marshal, Adler, Woods and a litany of other characters in the same story.
Nah bro finest hour, the big red one and cod 3 all had some of the best campaigns of the franchise💯🔥 the finest hour had the best opening mission out of any cod in history
It wasn’t until BO6 that Mason dying was canon. Personally one of the few mistakes I think 3arc made was officially killing him off. No one asked for it.
He’s not dead yet. There are 2 endings in BO2. If you shoot mason in the leg he survives. the flashbacks mason was shot in the leg. I think on the next black ops we’ll see mason come back just like the ending of BO2
Good takes overall, even if some I disagree with. My top 5 is: 1-Black ops 1 2-Modern warfare 2 (the og) 3-Black ops 6 4-Black ops Cold war 5-Black ops 2 Black ops 6 and MW2 are honestly interchangeable, it depends on my mood or which one I played last. BO6 was that good
@ewapiksrandeb3966 we can agree to disagree. It would be for me if it didn't include so many missions in the future, I'm much more invested in the 80s ones with Woods and Mason. Best thing about the other missions was old Menendez ofc but I still prefer Bo6 or Cold war as a whole
i dont know if its just me but i thought modern warfare 2022 had some of the best campaign gameplay out of any cod. i really liked the whole stealth system and crafting thing they did, it added a lot of ways to go about the missions. its a shame they completely scrapped it in mw23. its also a shame that the story is mid and mw22 as a whole game just wasn't good.
I truly believe people just want to sound unique or be a contrarian when they absolutely glaze the infinite warfare campaign. It has some cool design/gameplay ideas but outside of that the story almost put me to sleep and I laughed at the ending because it felt so abrupt and unsatisfying. I just don’t see what others see in that campaign. And to put it above black ops 1, WAW or MW1 is wild.
I talk about that in the beginning of the video. Perhaps I’ll include the pre-COD 4 games in next year’s list. I’ve played them, I just personally don’t care for them and wouldn’t have much to say about them.
Funny you mentioned that MWIII felt like a DLC because that was originally the plan. It started off a DLC for MWII in development, but higher-ups came in and made them turn it into a full-on sequel with very little time
It's a little more complicated than that the game started as a DLC for MWII however low player count in MWII ment they had to change tactics to get people playing the campaign itself must have only been in development for 8-10 months as they were still teasing the Mexico campaign in Season 3 it's only after Season 4 did they pivot towards the Makarov campaign we got in MWIII honestly I feel bad for the devs and I think MWIII still had a better campaign than BO3 and WW2 at least unlike those games I actually wanted to finish MWIII
Top 6 -> Call of Duty Black Ops 2 -> Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (Og) (Shepherd Betrayal) -> Call of Duty Black Ops 1 -> Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (Og) (ending was satisfying) -> Call of Duty World at War -> Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I don’t like that people think Ghost campaign was good, it was bad fellas stop defending it bad writing, ugly colors, bad characters, crap dialogue and acting
Warzone should just have its own little story like Zombies it can connect something’s to campaign but it’s mostly its own contained story or hell if Infinity Ward still does Spec Ops connect it to that yk
Probably but to be honest I haven't played it since like 2010 lol. Maybe I'll add all the classic ones to my list next year. I think they'd all end up ranked kind of low for me.
ngl putting WaW so low just doesn't make any sense. Even tho i agree with everything you said i still feel like it cannot be put that low. It is, to me, The Best campaign In cod History! It's just so different. Story telling is incredible it's just that there are no characters. I think I'd put it S in a class of itself. Its like when people rank Town, nuketown, farm, groastenhouse (not sure bout that one lol) in the same list as the other maps.... You can't do that. It's incomparable. Love the videos keep up the great content.!

Black ops 1, 2, WWII, CW, and 6 are my definite top 5. Never really got reeled into any of the Warfare Campaigns than how I did with the Black Ops Campaigns.
The original trilogy is great but Black ops is the best out of the two sub series that everyone knows

You didn't play Infinite Warfare lol
@@UltimatumDastric I didn’t vibe with the whole space setting. It felt like Star Wars and not cod to me. I haven’t played it since release so maybe I’ll have to give it another go.
Damn dude get off of black ops meat a little bit…
@@keithbryantjr.3020 They are my favourite campaigns. Just so happens that Black Ops has the best stories and characters.
@@BigSlick98 not having MW2 in the top 3 is criminal, I can get BO1-2 but WAW and CW no way. Then MW2019 is wayyy to low.
Big IW win. Dont think its number one material but absolutly amazing campaign.

Perfect list
@Alcomedy thx
@@wickdaline8668 good list only thing I'd change is MWIII I'd put it above BO3 and Vanguard
Absolutely perfect list, chefs kiss! Only things I'd change is flip 19 and 20, and flip 4 and 5. Maybe flip 13 and 14 too cause personally I preferred Ghosts story over AW
How can you deny the root of the series man. Love those old campaigns lol
FINALLY SOME RESPECT FOR INFINITE WARFARE! Really didn’t expect it to be #1 but I couldn’t help but agree, Ethan’s last message had me sobbing
My top 5 has to be:
1.WAW
2. BO1
3. BO2
4. MW2 (OG)
5. MW3 (OG)
Maybe it’s just the nostalgia taking its effect on me lol.
I came in here already knowing the top 3, but I was suprised that you liked infinite warfare that much.
WW2 at 11 is crazy work
13:14 this makes it a pretty comfy campaign imo. Something that is more laid back
Agree on the soundtrack but some tracks are awesome like the main theme
Vanguard is the 2nd worst campaign. The only good missions there are the ones that where you play as Lucas as Africa is a really cool setting
i’d like to hear more specifics about cod 4 not being a, at the bare minimum top 5 campaign
"Every " campaign- leaves out COD 1, 2 , and 3
I talk about that in the beginning of the video.
You should definitely add finest hour and big red one in a ranking list in the future also
IW story gotta be top 5, but in my opinion doesn’t clear bo1, bo2, mw2, mw3, or waw
I can agree.
Facts
my personal opinion is WaW number 1. I loved it that this is the only campaign where you dont have a villain. the main reason I love it is that here they dont make one good the other bad. As you said the russian side was a better story because through the game you see war crimes commited and did let me question if this is justice.
COD4, MW2 (2009), BLOPS 1, WaW in that order
Idk first time i played infinite warfare didnt hit that hard, guess i have to replay it
If infinite warfare came out today, it would be considered a masterpiece
I’m ngl and this might be a hot take, but I genuinely think cod ww2’s campaign is a top 5 cod campaign
My favorite campaign is definitely WW2 I think it’s the most underrated cod ever and love the characters and I just love the WW2 setting (most people don’t) second would be Black Ops 1 tho
I agree. WW2 is very underrated and has my favorite campaign. I enjoy the atmosphere of the game and the soundtracks.
1. BO1
2. WaW
3. BO2
The stakes felt very small 😕
lol I was REALLY not expecting that number 1, but everyone does have their opinion
Respectable Ranking. Your list was pretty similar to mine up until Cold War aha. Some of my thoughts;
- Vanguard is too high
- The COD4 take I completely agree with
- BO6 over Cold War I have to disagree (Cold War is a Top 5 Campaign for Me)
- I can’t agree with Jane Harrow being a strong villain. She’s barely in the game before she’s the twist villain. She’s a decent character tho
- BO1 at No.5??? Huh?? My No.1 pick aha
- IW at No.1 is such a hot take but one I completely respect
Love your content btw ❤
I AM SO GLAD SOMEBODY AGREED THAT IW IS THE BEST COD CAMPAIGN. ONE OF THE MOST UNDERRATED GAMES EVER.
I haven't played cold war, vanguard, mw3, and bo6 campaign at all. But this is my personal list
13. Bo3
12. ww2
11. ghosts
10. iw
9. aw
8. waw
7. mw2022
6. cod 4
5. bo2
4. mw3
3. bo1
2. mw2019
1. Mw2
The fact ALL GHILLIED UP isn’t in this rank is done out of
Vanguard above ghost is diabolical
New dog model
Nah bro finest hour, the big red one and cod 3 all had some of the best campaigns of the franchise💯🔥 the finest hour had the best opening mission out of any cod in history
Bloody hell, people can't seem to accept, that this is your subjective list.
Bo6 campaign is the best campaign since infinite warfare
Biggest crime is putting black ops 1 at number 5
It wasn’t until BO6 that Mason dying was canon. Personally one of the few mistakes I think 3arc made was officially killing him off. No one asked for it.
He’s not dead yet. There are 2 endings in BO2. If you shoot mason in the leg he survives. the flashbacks mason was shot in the leg. I think on the next black ops we’ll see mason come back just like the ending of BO2
These opinions are crazy....Ghosts at 15 and AW at 13, insane
Black Ops 1 at 5 is criminal.
Black Ops 1 should be first
Good takes overall, even if some I disagree with. My top 5 is:
1-Black ops 1
2-Modern warfare 2 (the og)
3-Black ops 6
4-Black ops Cold war
5-Black ops 2
Black ops 6 and MW2 are honestly interchangeable, it depends on my mood or which one I played last. BO6 was that good
Black ops 2 is better than black ops 6
But I agree BO1 on top and MW2 after
@ewapiksrandeb3966 we can agree to disagree. It would be for me if it didn't include so many missions in the future, I'm much more invested in the 80s ones with Woods and Mason. Best thing about the other missions was old Menendez ofc but I still prefer Bo6 or Cold war as a whole
Out of all the Campaigns I've played since CoD4, Infinite Warfare imo is still the best story.
Infinite Warfare at the top I mean i wasn't expecting that
The only game that can ever dethrone Infinite Warfare is Infinite Warfare 2.
A man can dream
i dont know if its just me but i thought modern warfare 2022 had some of the best campaign gameplay out of any cod. i really liked the whole stealth system and crafting thing they did, it added a lot of ways to go about the missions. its a shame they completely scrapped it in mw23. its also a shame that the story is mid and mw22 as a whole game just wasn't good.
You gonna stream season 1?
Later today I will. I was away on a trip for the past week and just got back.
infinite has aged so damn well i fuck w that 1st pick
1st pick is BO1 all the way in terms of campaign
Ghosts is sooo underrated
I truly believe people just want to sound unique or be a contrarian when they absolutely glaze the infinite warfare campaign. It has some cool design/gameplay ideas but outside of that the story almost put me to sleep and I laughed at the ending because it felt so abrupt and unsatisfying. I just don’t see what others see in that campaign. And to put it above black ops 1, WAW or MW1 is wild.
Black ops 1 is the best campaign plot of all time, better than bo2 and everything else
You missed every Call of Duty before Modern Warfare 2007!
I talk about that in the beginning of the video. Perhaps I’ll include the pre-COD 4 games in next year’s list. I’ve played them, I just personally don’t care for them and wouldn’t have much to say about them.
My Personel Ranking

@@ITZCHELSEA2244 BO3, yes. WW2, definitely not. Agree with everything else, they got screwed over by stupid decisions by the higher ups
Bo2 is where it’s at
Top 6
-> Call of Duty Black Ops 2
-> Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (Og) (Shepherd Betrayal)
-> Call of Duty Black Ops 1
-> Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (Og) (ending was satisfying)
-> Call of Duty World at War
-> Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
BO1 is so gold campaign
NUMBERS MASON
Hopefully AW 2 release
The hottest take you make was Black Ops 1 @5😂 respect the opinion tho
I don’t like that people think Ghost campaign was good, it was bad fellas stop defending it bad writing, ugly colors, bad characters, crap dialogue and acting
Warzone should just have its own little story like Zombies it can connect something’s to campaign but it’s mostly its own contained story or hell if Infinity Ward still does Spec Ops connect it to that yk
Call of duty 3 deffo couldve been included i get the ones before not being included tho
Probably but to be honest I haven't played it since like 2010 lol. Maybe I'll add all the classic ones to my list next year. I think they'd all end up ranked kind of low for me.
Modern warfare 2019 is the goat
Black Ops 1 n Modern Warfare 2 is easily 1&2 imo
ngl putting WaW so low just doesn't make any sense.
Yes infinite warfare is the best
