Every time I see a 380 takeoff, I’m struck by how deceivingly slow it seems when they reach rotation speed. Also the acceleration for an aircraft approaching 500 tons is pretty amazing.
That engine spool-up sound when takeoff thrust is set is absolutely cathartic. 😍
Communication and briefing between Capt. and FO in this case in fantastic! Excellent crew!

A few seconds before you say Rotate, that speed is exhilarating. I have always loved that speed. I would sit in my sit with a smile big enough to light up the whole plane.😊☺😊. I Do Love the Airbus A380. She is a Magnificent Lady.

The MH tech crew sound very thorough, and professional throughout. I think they're a great airline and really hope they come out of COVID OK after months of uncertainty for every airline.

Saw one of these behemoths take off at Frankfurt airport a few years ago. And I’ve seen a C5 take off too. It’s insane watching it lumber down the runway and takeoff. It never looks like it’s going fast enough because of how big it is but eventually the nose rises and up it goes.

I flew on the A-380 with Singapore Airlines a few years back so its nice see how the crew get those huge planes off the ground. Thank you enjoyed this.
