On this video you see the start of the 13 hour 30 minute flight with some shots from the flight preparations, aircraft external walkaround, startup, taxi and takeoff. Why this A380 cockpit look little old
Thank you JustPlanes for this video. In my opinion the editing on this video is the best style, straight cockpit content. I reference in this in comparison to the videos where we have some footage in the cockpit, then a jump to a camera outside for half the video and then back to inside the cockpit for the very end. I like this style of this video much better! Less choppy editing and clearer presentation of content.

Amazing aircraft, very beautiful, I love the walk around. I love the pilots, it's awesome that they can explain everything to you. I love the equipment and the camera as it's apart of the equipment. The plane sounds amazing and that was an awesome takeoff with beautiful landscape. Awesome video, I love it.

This is a very old video. MH has grounded their A380 for quite a while if i am not mistaken.
and there's the malaysia airline 777-200er at the background,maybe recorded before 2016
A380 still in used but mainly in Aussie, not so much for London anymore
Not grounded, they use it for hajj and umrah travel and most aus and japan korea routes

Sadly mh already use a350 to London..
The MH 380 is only used for the Hajj and when the 350s are in maintenance
A380 no longer operate to london due to lack of passengers aboard and big fuel consumption of a380 to london with small amount of passengers. And that may cause negative of income, thats why they come up with a350 that has more fuel efficient
What happens if that go pro falls of the windscreen and hits a switch like the landing gear ???
Atleast what happens next would be on camera or atleast audio haha
Landing gear lever has to be pulled then moved
If it falls into a landing gear, you just turn and land and enjoy coffee.

380 is a great aircraft I flew business class dubai Washington DC, Frankfurt to Mexico city and New York to Dubai... So well made machine I can't believe 380 is scrapped by many airlines. What a loss to airlines and passengers. How did airbus overlook the negative aspects of operati g 380???
It was a business gamble on two strategies that airlines *could* have adopted : Point to point vs Hub and Spoke. Turns out the state of economies, fuel prices, traveler preferences did not favor hub & spoke model that A380 is more suited for. New Airbus and Boeing jets esp with 2 engines were preferred by airlines and they could fly point to point (esp between 2nd tier cities directly) without going through major hubs like London, Atlanta, Dubai etc. Look for YT videos on this subject for more details.

Seem like all great professional pilots. Can't forget that Malaysian pilot back in 2014 who piloted his aircraft so it would never be found again, with all on board perishing. Never know what is going on inside a person.

V1. It’s the speed that you can no longer reject takeoff as there is not enough room to safety stop. So at V1 you have to take off so pilot removes hand off thrust levers
