Had I known about Train Loft I would have went by there when I went to the Winston Cup Museum closing.
heres a fun fact D&RGW Triplex Locomotive was a proposed Triplex steam locomotive by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad and The Denver and Rio Grande Western's Triplex Locomotive was proposed by the Baldwin Locomotive Works after they had built the very first three triplex locomotives for the Erie Railroad in 1914 and they were planning to build this locomotive for the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad. but unfortunately The reasons to why Denver and Rio Grande Western's Triplex Locomotive wasn't built was because of the issues with the Erie Railroad's P-1s and the Virginian Railway's XA when they couldn't go as fast as their top speed was about 10-15 mph, with the Virginian Railway's XA reaching 3-5 mph or even as high as 10 mph. sort of like what if D&RGW built the Triplex Locomotive

I like the Jersey central 4-6-0. Just concerned about Lionel getting the color right. I have MTH blue comet passenger cars. hoping this engine will match. Great video! Perfect length.
They have a hard time with blue for some reason! Lots of comments on others reviews tonight on that. I have my eye on a couple blues but it makes me nervous as well
Overall it was a great catalog! I’ll definitely be in for that Nickel Plate Limited #777 and both the Norfolk & Western Redbird GP9’s! I am a little worried that they’ll get the red color wrong though as they’ve done with previous N&W releases lol.
The H7’s have good detailing though! They were originally TMCC JLC releases in the mid 2000’s (which was basically the original Vision Line), so they don’t really have any molded in details.
Not sure if I’ll preorder it, but that Atomic set caught my attention as well! 😅
I have a bunch of Glow in the dark tank cars so cool. Hot box cars with roller bearings trucks? Just goes to show you they have no clue.
Lionel cooked this year. The prairie was a phenomenal idea to bring back and as a starter set too

I like a lot of the licensed products and this particular catalog is brutal on my wallet. Between the new Harry Potter, Looney Tunes, and DC Comics stuff I will be spending more than I ever have on a catalog (by a large margin). It’s actually going to be hard to work some regular stuff in the budget.
Agreed, lots of tough decisions to make. But we have a few weeks to really think it over which is great, lots to consider!
just an observation the Hiawatha has the same grossly oversized details , and the cars are a joke . they got it wrong for the 4rth time
