You know what I especially love? Is just how real and down to earth you guys are. That’s, precious, actually. And refreshing. ... don’t you Dare stop going on your adventures. You’re not polished; necessarily. ... we love that, you know. *laughs* ... yeah.
Thanks for the vids, you made it all look so easy, and I know it’s not because we did the same thing in 1985. Only we had to use a sextant then for navigation..
So glad to have you guys back. Missed you! I really like product you have, hope once back in the UK you don’t just stop all this stuff. Bora Bora is really a great boat. I love listening to your accents, your projects, and the views.
At 17:30 you said it doesn't get much pretty than that !! you are correct and the sunset was beautiful also. I just found your channel and had to subscribe, Thank for sharing your adventures.
Hi anxiously awaiting the next and maybe final episode back to the UK, Can you mention in it how you are down loading yr predict wind forecasts and what sort of package you have and who with. Really have enjoyed yr vids and learnt about the simbo rig from you, something I have been wondeting about for awhile. I sail a Nic 35. Thanks for some great footage, a proper sailing channel
Great to see you back, been a long while. Love the vlog ❤. It's not your last is it 🤔? You inspired us so much and we really look forward to watching you both.
Great to see that your this side of the Atlantic. Did you miss out the Med for a reason? What’s next after the boat gets home, sell it, start a family or some more adventure?
We went into the Med a couple years back...plans are to lay down some roots back in Devon for a while as we have a land based project to build...details soon😊
Hello you two. I have followed everyone of your videos with great interest and admiration and hope you finish them off with a homecoming video. I live on my boat and planning to do something similar in a couple of years. My boat is a Jeanneau 37 ft . Not as heavy as your lovely Bora Bora but just as capable I hope. I wish you both the very best in whatever you do in the future. You are an inspiration to many. I would love to meet the both of you one day. I intend to sail down to my old home in Fowey next year so I might stop off in Topsham . Take care guys and best wishes to you both.
Further to the comment below, I’d really like hear your views on the simbo rig, I’m thinking about it. I live on Culatra and am planning a Madeira, Azores trip next summer and the simbo rig might be just right for the downwind leg. Get in touch if you can, thanks Nick
Sailing SV Bora Bora good luck with any new endeavors! I think that the ideal life has happily established roots... with healthy doses of adventure. If you do ever find yourselves back in Rhode Island, pls reach out. Had we known you were in NPT, we would have loaned you a car for your provisioning expeditions!
Hey guys - been wondering what’s happening. Really missing your episodes. Imagine you’re back in UK now but how do we find out (I’m not on FB so have relied on these updates). They're gonna put their sailboat up for sale early this year... Ce la vie...
Oh no. Shame!
One more question how easy was it to reef the main when running downwind with the twin headsails ?
Come to Cabo Verde, island São Vicente, Mindelo...
Where have you two gone? Missing your videos. Hope all is well.
New video is now live!
What was the wind forecast site you were using and what were the four boat tracks? are they potential routes back? Enjoyed.
It's predict wind and most of the time it's pretty good.
When are you going to upload the final leg of this adventure.
It's up now!
Aww i just started watching this channel and now it's over :(
"That guy is so cool" until he crashes into the side of a big ship or volcano :-D !!!
