What an amazing channel. So helpful for those of us who are in danger of losing our minds trying to identify our old marbles!

Very nice manmade "stones". As a hobby - jewelry designer I plan for next year a funny pendant with four pastel - color banded small equal great marbles with transparent basis. In the loop for the chain I plan to let set smaller rhinestones in this loop as familiar entourage to the marbles. I love marbles and other similar decorative glassworks like the art of Gablonz and Murano also. Thank You for Your highly inspiring content. Gems and fine glass-arts are very important details for jewelry designer's work. 💎💎💎💎💎💎🙏😉

Gosh those are beautiful!! Wish you could see my inherited collection and tell me what I have!! (Thousands...). I always loved looking at them with my Grandfather - who passed when I was 9. I was given them when I turned 18, which was 36 years ago. I’ve added to his collection over the years....Thank you for sharing this!! Happy New Year!! 🥳

Very nice video. I’m not a marble collector but enjoy collecting. Would love to see how marble collecting got started. I heard Native Americans traded glass beads as currency. Nice camera work on the closeups.

Ive been digging for bottles and collecting bottles since about 2009. I also do photography and make most of my living off of that and have been also doing abandoned urban photos since like 2002. I wish I would have been into marbles since then. I only recently got into marbles in the past year here in Pittsburgh. I find so many marbles in the basements of abandoned houses and just recently started looking for them in that past 6 months. Just yesterday I found a red white and blue Akro Popeye in mint condition in an ash tray in an abandoned house. Today I found 7 nice akro and marble king marbles in a basement of an abandoned house. They're so easy to find; so much easier than pre 1915 bottles since valuable and beautiful marbles were made up until about 1955; unlike bottles other than applied color labels and milks; until about 1960.

Great video. Wondering if Wheaton Arts in Millville NJ (glass studio and museum) would be willing to host a marble machine demo. Would be fantastic to see marbles made in person.

Thanks Allen , do they have a machine at Wheaton Arts ? If so, that would be something they should definitely do !

I'm too new and too afraid to buy marbles right now. I will buy something I think is a Ravenswood or Rainbow Peltier and it's really a 2008 Jabo. 😆
