- This is a Mix I've made of the track Stillwind from the demo of Final Fantasy XVI using the calm part of the track and the battle part of the track, since you don't get to hear both of them together in the game.
It starts with the Calm track alone up to 2:26, them both of them are mixed and the audio levels are adjusted so that you can better listen to parts of the lower volume tracks, like the piano.
This mix is not for commercial purposes.

It’s crazy that this is a year old. Really doesn’t feel that long ago when I played this game
I know, I know. It's the DEMO part; they have to deliver the best possible experience to engage people.
But come on, one of the best tracks in the game is locked there. No other part of the entire game has this song.

You’re very right, and the fact we don’t get that many stages with unique battle themes is absolutely criminal. The game felt more fantasy in the first 2 hours than anywhere else, but rising tide did redeem that aspect a little bit
The Greatwood is better.

I've been playing this on loop well over a year now. I often use this during writing and studying sessions for law school. Feels wrong to not thank you for this simple act of cutting this music together and uploading it. It's such a minor thing, but I really do appreciate it.
When I played the demo and heard this, immediately sold. This sounds so original final fantasy I forgot about
I played every Final Fantasy game, and this is honestly my favorite one, despite the flaws.
The dark fantasy setting, and medieval European setting, sold it for me, aswell as the good looking brooding MC.
I love Berserk and felt it was the same setting. Even the MC looks similar to the Berserk MC (guts).
Also the entire Eikon fight is a reference to an old classic game, Asura Wrath.
This one made me feel nostalgia. Would fit well back in XII.

Aaarghhh too bad this theme plays so early in the game and during a flashback chapter....basically a tutorial chapter. Spectacular soundtrack, one of the best in the series now! Especially impressive to say this as it's not Uematsu.

Hey thanks, yeah I created this mix, using the two "modes" of the track, since it´s a dynamic track. From 2:25 and on the two tracks are mixed and synced. The original soundtrack was released a few days ago and there too you can hear the two "modes" but one after the other. Here in this mix the two are synced togheter. There are slight differences, manly in the piano.
