    You are the best!!! Thank you soo much for your videos. I have bought TT 2 months ago and because of you, I have saved a lot of money. I had broken paddleshifters, didn't know how to turn on daytime running lights, my glovebox was broken, and my release lever is broken too. I have fixed everything after watching your videos. Legend!! Btw, I'm from Croatia..Lijep pozdrav :D
    One more thing..If you could show how to paint or fix those 3 climate control wheels(for fan speed, temp., and zones), because mine's are damaged..the color is missing and they are pretty much white :/

    Man I can't believe you gotta do all that just to open the frickin bonnet. I've got this car and when I tried opening the bonnet the stupid black handle snapped and broke didn't even pull it that hard. Anyways thx for the tutorial.

    Thank you. I bought a used 2013 two days ago. The only service that had been done to it ever that was not at Audi was a the hood release lever.
    On the two hour drive back home with the car something dropped and hit my foot.
    Yesterday I figured out it was that lever.
    After watching the video I popped it back into place.
    I guess the local garage guy put it in, but didn't pop it in.
    I had not even looked at it... Just came straight to youtube to see the possible issues to check and yours was the first video I looked at.
    It took me longer to walk to the car than to fix it.

    Very good instructional video… none of the usual five minutes of preamble of someone trying to stretch out the video length by explaining what a car is. 🤨

    No need to take ANY trim off at all. Use needle nose pliers to remove snapped shaft from the latch hole inwards to the footwell. Push new spindle in. Job done! Less than 1 minute!

    Pozdrav, danas sam povukao rucicu za podignuti haubu i samo sam osjetio da se nesto desilo...da li je pukla sajla ili se otkacila? Imam audi a3 2011...da li je ista procedura kao TT...hvala

    Hey, sorry for the off-topic, but I wanted to ask you if your TT also takes long to warm up these days? I think mine has a thermostat stuck-open since it takes ca 25 min to get to 90.
    Thanks!

    • @sunkazz
      @sunkazz  4 роки тому +1

      It takes around 20 minutes when its pretty cold. Typically if thermostat is stuck, it does not reach 90 deg, ever. But can be that your thermostat will die soon.

      dr. sunka thank you so much for answer!
      When I drive in city it does get to 90, after a long time. When im on the autobahn, it never gets there, and it seemed a bit strange...

    Hi! I own a Q7 4L. I changed the stupid releas sistem 3 times already and today broke again. Is breaking exactly where the small ball on the end of the wire hold up. Is made out of cheap plastic with a poor design. Any hack for this? Or a place where can i buy a better one. One made out of metal maby

    • @sunkazz
      @sunkazz  3 роки тому +1

      How about its not a problem of the plastic handle, but instead the wire is very hard to pull? Hence, the handle breaks over certain force. Take a look at the wire if it is bent somewhere or stuck, or something, maybe even oil it a bit.

  • @pauliwalnuts7822
    @pauliwalnuts7822 Рік тому

    If your handle breaks, buy the aluminum upgrade.
    BTW the Audi handle removal procedure is less forceful.
    1. Disconnect the cable at the separation joint under the hood
    2. Raise the release handle 90 degrees and slide out. This moves the retention tab out of the way as opposed to forcing it past with a pry bar.
