- Here are four things that you probably did not know about Audi's second generation TT. Or at least it turns out, that many people do not know about automatic idle control, heating mirrors and windows, sensor buttons, and trunk handle.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I died 😂🤣😂🤣😂
Well this is what it‘s called in germany 😅
Daytona Grey TTRS and Norway lol
😂😂😂😂 I know
Recently sold my AUDI TT and got an Audi S5. Really miss the TT. Had it for 4 years and it never broke down once.
I'm looking to buy a audi s5. What year do you have?
Clutch, flywheel all broke down at 28000 km. Hungarian built means quality problems.
Funny! I went the opposite way. I sold my S5, and bought a TT RS.
@@JustinBone good riddance
Hello great videos!
Do you know where the location to inspect/replace the fuel pump? I see on the mk1 it is under the back seat.
Here's something that none of you TT owners might not know.
The armrest for the passenger behind the passenger seat (left hand drive model), there's a secret compartment that's as deep as your hand, only on that side. I don't know if it's switched for right hand drive, but it's there for ya.
Big enough to put your manual or drugs in.
Yes, it is right back side, below the small window. I keep manual and service book there.
It's for the first aid kit
no intro no click bait ... LEYEND! sigue asi hermano !!! keep rocking like that bro.
Thank you, big fan of your videos
Is there a video on how to replace the washer pump that is located under the left fender?
Very helpful thanks 👏🏾👍🏾
Great video. I am still wondering how to open the pass-through lid to transport a ski board. Pressing to release from trunk seems not working for me. That seems to be very valuable feature if it could be unlocked.
Didn’t know about the press-and-hold of the key fob for the boot - been clicking furiously!
great vid love doing bits to the Audi tt mk2
Awesome video, thank you
You have a lot to learn about cars !! Every car I have owned since 1964 does the same thing. Used to be called a "choke" and was manually adjusted for cold winter starts.
Hello there buddy I'm having the symptoms of the idle on cold starts to idle just above a 1000rpm as in the video but the pin slowly climbs down as the car runs it recently started to happen is there any harm in this or is it a bad idle control??
This is normal for a cold start. If the RPM is unstable (jumps around) when the engine is warm, then you have an issue, see this video: ua-cam.com/video/7wJ827EO0VM/v-deo.html
LMAO, I have owned my black edition 2014 TT for 3 years now and had no idea that was a button as well as a knob - I thought you just turn it and was wondering why the wing mirrors weren't clearing.
How about a o2 sensor would it be a problem if I drive it??
Good video, broski.
I knew 4 out of 4, yeah!
The inside grip in the trunk is in almost every car but indeed, hardly anyone knows it. Sometimes left or right of the middle and sometimes a handle instead of an opening.
Thank you for the video. I didn't even know my car had some of these features!
Good video...do you have a video on how to turn off the Serive Now warning ?
I need this too
Got the TTs mk2 DSG.Yes the handle for closing the boot is a bit tricky.Did you know that you can shift gear with the stick in DSG.
Yup
do the sensor button come from factory in the s line ?
It comes with advance alarm system including motion and moving detector.
On the boot (trunk) you didnt mention if you open the ski hatch at the top there is a handle to open boot manually if your battery dies for any reason and you need access to the boot.

Do you know how to open the trunk to reach a dead battery? Mine is a roadster

no. 5 You could get the middle console + shifter in red??!?
Cool.
Hey Dr!
As you know, I have 2007 Mk2 with factory coilovers, and I regret it! It is too, too firm for my city. When it is useful, I am driving too fast!
Do you have experience of air ride suspension?
Hi, it will not get much better with other suspension. The highest impact on the ride have wheels and tires. What size tires you have? Consider smaller rim sizes and tires with bigger height. Driving 225/55 R16 instead of 245/40 R18 will make a huge difference, because you will have ~3 cm more rubber which absorbs vibrations. But anyway, TT is a sports car, hard suspension makes it more stable on the road and faster around the corners.
most of these are common sense, "Probably Did NOT Know About Audi TT Mk2" the cold start thing i didn't know my mk2 2009 tt does not have that motion button on the door
my mk2 2008 has them
It's on the driver's door? If yours is a UK car it'll be the opposite side to that shown!
The audi tt 8n mk l has all those features.
Did you find the auxiliary plug? Found mine after a 6 months😂
Bro, where did you find it?
Wheeeeere ??
passenger side centre consol, near the phone cradle
hold the unlock or lock button down on your key fob for a few seconds and it opens and closes your windows
Audi te te haha! Love the accent dude
Where did you read about first one?
@0:05 Audi teh teh 😂
I don’t have the hearing mirror 🥹
5. You can to turn on lights
Dr. Šunka 🤔😂
Hey pal, does your TT burn oil? I heard that MK2 can burn oil and AUDI says it's normal
Hello. Yes, it does spend around 1 liter per 15.000 km. This is normal, it is design in this way to extend engines lifetime -> lubricate rings and piston walls -> some oil escapes and burns. However, if you loose a lot more oil than 1 L per a service interval, then you might have some issues (bad rings, gaskets, turbo, a leak, etc.). Hope this helps. Best!
It depends on the way you drive your car? But if you ask Audi they probably says it's normal. Nothing is negative, just normal!
I have the 3.2 VR6 TT. And I do the oil every 5k Miles. I dont notice any used up oil.... the reason I do mine so much is bc the timing chain has a reputation of failing. So frequent oil changes help preserve it.
all 2.0 tfsi engines like to use some oil. you just have to drive it very hsrd sometimes hahaha, it cleans the engine
You should get the timing belt changed at 65 -70k miles (and water pump)
What’s mk2?
Mark 2, means 2nd generation of TT.
Audi theTHEE
All of that is common knowledge
Audi titay !
Audi Tee Tee
Lol does no-one read their handbook manual the car came with?
...a 2007 car bought in 2020 is unlikely to come with a manual
Every car has an auto choke
Audi teh teh 🤣🤣🤣
I'm sorry but the first one is nothing special to the car at all. It happens to near enough every car
It's just cold start
Oida red deutsch 😂
Lmao you will notice that the rpms are higher on cold start lmaooooo..... that is in any car with an idle air control valve and that is 90% of cars
Lol so true its to warm up the cat for emissions nothing to do with the engine and oil ect
😂😂😂 Clown
Seriously? Automatic chokes, heated rear mirrors, heated rear windscreens, alarm immobilisers and how to open the boot? Clicked on here hoping to learn something. Even my cat knows all this shit.
Yeah! Big deal?
