Yup. It's one big assembly. I replaced mine with an aftermarket assembly... otherwise you have to take it all apart if you just want to replace the filter only.
So what's the black box just in front of the air filter? I looked at a car at the dealership today that was missing that part. Is it important? Can't find any info about it anywhere.
@@Wes_5kyph1 I called the Toyota dealer where I live and they told me the 2010-up Camry has a sealed transmission and you have to take it to the dealer and pay $100+ to have the fluid checked..ripoff...but they check my fluid everytime I get my oil changed..

But they run forever. Just add oil on high mileage ones. The 2AR-FE Toyota engine 4 banger won't ever quit. Back in the 50's and 60's ALL cars needed oil added (and water)when you went the gas station. Full serve gas stations back then would check and top all fluids. Also, I tell young kids who need a reliable car to look for a 93 Camry. Those cars were built to last forever. Sure it might look like crap and not have the latest touch screen/bluetooth phone/GPS stuff, but if you're a college student that's the car you want. Avoid Chevy like the plague! The 97 Ford Taurus with the Vulcan motor will also run forever if maintained. I had one that was still running when I eventually got rid of it. I put 290,000 miles on it and only the normal things needed replaced. i.e. Alternator, starter. But never once leaked or burned oil! Even the battery lasted 8 years.

I have an '09, I found the hidden dipstick... guess they stopped at '11 models

Usually through the dip-stick funnel. I know it seems weird. But most cars don't have a proper fill cap for the transmission.
